"You bought quite a bit" Mitsunari looked down at the bags he was helping me carry. "Well you all have treated me so sweetly that I wanted a way to pay you back. Since you all are warlords I doubt there is much I could buy you so I decided to make you guys something. Ah- but forget I just said that it was supposed to be a surprise" I sighed and got after myself for being so impatient.

Mitsunari chuckled "I think that would make everyone really happy Lady Banshee" he smiled sweetly at me. "Oh look it's Lord Nobunaga" Mitsunari pointed up ahead to Nobunaga talking to Mitsuhide and Masamune. "Hey Mitsunari, Banshee" Masamune shot us his cool smile.

"Out on a shopping spree?" Mitsuhide glanced at our bags which I had tightly closed before getting here so they couldn't tell what anything was. "Yes Lady Banshee wants to ma-" "Ahhhhh!" I yelled cutting of Mitsunari. They all stared at me as if I'd lost my mind. "Uh, ahem, well we better get going" grabbing Mitsunari's hand I dragged him inside and into my room.

"Mitsunari I need you to promise me something" I grabbed his shoulders and stared at him intently. He looked at me confused with my sudden roughness. "Promise me you won't tell anyone about what I told you. I want the gifts to be a surprise" I frowned trying my best to convey that this needs to remain top secret.

"I see, yes I understand Lady Banshee. Don't worry you can count on me" he beamed and after reassuring me a few times he left. I secured my door and by that I mean I put a bell on the handle so it could inform me when someone enters.

I brought the things behind the shoji screen and began to work. I continued to sketch out ideas and cut out measurements. Over the course of the next few days I was flying all over the place. I took every break in my room as I worked on my gifts. And soon I was done making and wrapping them.

I looked at the mess I had accumulated over the last few days. I hadn't let anyone come in and said I'd clean myself but I was too busy. I sighed and set up my futon, "I'll clean tomorrow" I was so tired I forgot to put the bells back on my door.

"What a mess!" Stirred awake I sat up looking up groggily at the figure moving in my room. "It looks like I was right to be worried" Hideyoshi picked up the scattered fabric and cotton. He got closer and closer the the shoji screen. "W-Wait" I scrambled up jumping in front of him to stop him from going any further.

"Why is it so messy in here?" he motioned for the bundle in his hands which I took and placed behind the screen. "Don't worry about it I can take care of it. Did you need something?" I shoved him backwards until he was halfway out of the room. "Mm Nobunaga wants you to attend today's meeting. Hurry and get ready and we'll walk together" he leaned on the wall outside of my room adding a bit more pressure in getting ready.

"Alright I'll be out in a bit" I nodded and closed my doors and began to change. I reached for the door and hesitated, "They'll all be there, well most likely" I groaned and ran back to my hidden workshop and carefully placed all the handmade boxes in a large paper bag.

"I hope it won't be weird doing it during a council" before I could second guess myself I marched out the door. "What is that?" Hideyoshi shot the bag a glance. "Don't worry about it, let's go" I walked in front of him even though he was supposed to be walking me.

We got there in no time and I decided to take the furthest seat since I wasn't an important member. "What took you so long?" Masamune looked at us as we came in. "What's with the bag?" Mitsuhide stared intently at the bag in my hand. "Don't worry about it for now" I huffed and set it next to me. "Right well let's start. Mitsuhide your report" Nobunaga turned his attention away.

"Right. We investigated every lead we got and all were duds except for one. It led us to someone unexpected, Kennyo" this sent a wave of shock through the room and even to me for some reason. "The monk?" before I could stop myself I had already spoken. "You know Kennyo?" Ieyasu shot me a curious glance.

I shook my head and began to explain what happened when I ran away from Nobunaga and into the forest. "He said his name was Kennyo and that he was a monk. I thought he was really shady so I ran away. Although if you ask me he fits the silhouette of the person inside the fire" I pulled myself deep into my own conspiracy theory.

"It seems you really are useful after all" Mitsuhide hummed his praise although I'm not sure I wanted it. For a second I thought about mentioning the other people I had met in the forest but then I remembered Sasuke. He seemed to know the other people and I'm sure there's a reason he sneaks into Azuchi castle. So I decided to keep the information to myself for now.

The meeting continued normally and soon it was over. "You're dismissed" Nobunaga leaned back letting his body relax a bit. "Ah wait, do you guys have a moment" I stood up hurriedly. They all looked at me again and now it made me really nervous.

"What is it?" Ieyasu was the first to speak up as he sat back down. "Uhm well you all have taken care of me in one form or another so I wanted to thank you. These are for you" I grabbed the bag at my side and began to walk around the room handing them out.

"You color coordinated them?" Masamune looked at the different colored boxes. "It was the easiest way to tell them apart. Also if you don't like it you can just throw them away I don't mind at all" I tried smiling brightly but the thought of that crushed my heart. "Whaaa! How adorable" Mitsunari beamed as he opened the box and pulled out a pair of small wings. "I love them thank you Lady Banshee!" seeing him smile so happily made me over flow with joy.

"It's- a dragon" Masamune pulled his out and bursted out laughing. "This is incredible lass! You even gave him an apron" he chuckled happily. "A deer?" Ieyasu looked at his confused. "It's supposed to be wasabi" I scratched my nape. Ieyasu had introduced me to wasabi when I went with Hideyoshi to deliver some documents.

"I see" he placed it carefully back in the box "thanks I guess" he said nonchalantly but I could see the light shade of pink on his cheeks. "Mm" I nodded happily. "And here I thought mine would be a snake" Mitsuhide held up a white fox. "I definitely thought about it" I joked "but a white fox suits you better. Cunning yet wise and resilient" I smiled.

"You really are too trusting" he looked at the fox for a while longer, "thank you" I almost gasped as he showed me the slightest signs of a real smile I had ever seen from him. "Konpeito.." Nobunaga mumbled pulling out three rubber ball sized konpeito. A blue, pink, and orange one. "Ah you even got his favorite ones" Hideyoshi laughed.

"Thank you Banshee" Nobunaga gave me a smile and began to inspect them closer. I looked over at Hideyoshi curious about his reaction. His took extra work to make but I think it was worth it. He opened his box with a smile and he let out a strange squeal. "Did Hideyoshi just make that sound...?" Masamune looked up from playing with his stuffed dragon. Hideyoshi's eyes almost glimmered and he shut the box quickly.

He stood up and walked over to me surprisingly quick. Before I could even say anything he pulled me into a tight embrace. "Uh" I felt like the life would be squeezed out of me. "I'm sorry I ever doubted you Banshee you are truly a blessing" he let go of me his smile even brighter than Mitsunari's. I finally saw why they called him the lady killer.

"What did she get you?" Nobunaga asked curiously. "Why My Lord only the best thing ever!" Hideyoshi reopened his box excitedly and took out his specially made Nobunaga-plush doll. "You!" his smile was so bright you could almost over look all the blank faces that appeared in the room.

"Pfft...."
"Hahaha"

Slowly they all started laughing even Nobunaga eventually joined in. Hideyoshi just looked around wondering what was so funny. "I'm glad you all liked them. Oh there is one more thing" I had almost forgotten about the most important part. One by one I held the plushies in my hands and did a little specialized prayer for each. "What was that for?" Ieyasu asked as I gave him back wasabi.

"I put a charm in each when I made them. I thought it was fitting since that's why I'm here, now even if you take a sword to the head you'll survive. Ah but I wouldn't test that" I shouted out my disclaimer. "Wait you made these?" Masamune asked. "Well yeah" I looked at them confused. I thought I had made that clear. "I thought you had someone make them for you, these are really incredible. You even got Lord Nobunaga's armor right" Hideyoshi awed.

"Yeah that took a lot of sneaking aroun- I mean I have a great memory....." I looked away as Nobunaga shot me look. "Welp I have to go find some work to do. Take care of yourselves" I bowed and headed out of the room.
