History:
Inori Yamanaka was once a bright and loving soul.
When she was a genin, she apart of an Ino-Shika-Cho trio, but on one mission, they were captured and tortured for days before they were found, by Shisui Uchiha and his team. While in surgery, Shikami and Chona both died from their injuries.
She was dating Shisui Uchiha, she and he were inseparable. Everyone was sure they would get married, from the ages 9 to 16, they were a couple.
Inori was the person he told everything to, and one of those things was how the Uchiha Clan was planning to take over the village.
She told him that no matter what he had to do, he was not a traitor to his clan and that he would always be a hero in her eyes. The night he committed suicide and gave his eye to Itachi, she was one of the last people to see him.
He told her about how he was going to stop the coup d'état, and she smiled and told him she loved him, not knowing this would be the last time.
Itachi came to her later that night and explained what happened to her. She understood and said that it was now his mission to do what Shisui wanted.
Underneath her strength, she was breaking. She ended up with depression and she ended up not eating for days and she went on dangerous missions.
When Itachi killed his own whole clan, except for Sasuke, she knew the reason why, and she understood, but that didn't make the pain go away.
After Itachi left and was branded a missing ninja, she got worse.
And when she was on a mission, escorting a feudal lord, Itachi came to her and told her to straighten up and he the woman that Shisui would want her to be.
After that, she started eating more or at least tried to.
She even earned a name for herself as she went on more missions, The Queen of Minds.
Inori, when she was 18 started working for Konoha's Torture and Interrogation Force, and she became the right hand for Ibiki Morino.
She met Kakashi Hatake when she went on a mission with him, and they worked together flawlessly, for the first time in years, she worked perfectly with someone and it scared her, terribly.
Inori, though she never really could move on from Shisui started to develop a crush on Kakashi Hatake, but she didn't want to move on from Shisui, so she kept her feelings close to her and didn't let anyone know.
Inori started working closely with the Third Hokage, as one of his advisors.
And because of her accomplishments, she became her little sister, Ino's motivation, but at the same time, her sister wants to be with Sasuke Uchiha.
While Inori is the right hand of Ibiki, she is also being chosen to be a co-sensei for Kakashi Hatake.
And her story starts with her meeting Team 7.
