No one's POV:Digging through your closet, you found only a few dresses. Only a few because you didn't have special occasions to go to. Only having a few dresses to choose from, you had a hard time choosing which dress you were going to wear. You wanted to look very pretty for this date especially since you know that this was fancy and you were going to be with Chris. So the fear of being underdressed or not matching him is the first thing you were worried about.
You had an idea of where you were meeting but you had never been there, so you had no idea how fancy or anything it was. But he probably did, since he was the one to recommend the restaurant. Smiling as you finally found a dress you knew you were going to wear. It was a royal blue dress the went to just above your knee. You found a pair of black flats that you were going to add, and some simple blue eye makeup. Happily waiting to get ready, you took a shower and got ready. You still had plenty of time before the date, but you didn't want to wait anymore before getting ready. You were too excited/nervous.
You slid the skin tone nylons onto your legs, and put the flats on. Adding some jewelry to your look, you finished your makeup and got back into your car. Putting on some perfume that you had in your purse, you almost choked on the strong scent filling your throat as you inhaled. The alcohol in the perfume hit the back of your throat and you started laughing and coughing at the same time. Once your pained coughing fit was over, you started your car, the engine roaring and vibrating under you. Soon, were were halfway to the restaurant, checking the GPS every now and then.
Some time later, you arrived at the restaurant. Your heart nearly beating out of your chest, you took a couple deep breaths to try and calm yourself. You got out and walked to the front of the restaurant, waiting patiently for Chris. Being early was pleasing, because again, there's nothing good that comes out of being late. So only a few minute went by until a medium sized SUV pulling into the parking lot, dark gray or maybe even black in color. You watched as a stunning man come out of the car. A black suit was matching his body perfectly.goddamnit Chris...you are so fucking perfect...
He looked over at you, his face immediately igniting with a small. His dress shoes clacked against the pavement as he locked his car walked- no, sauntered. Is it even possible to have a perfect walk? He smirked at you, one corner of his mouth lifted as your eyes were connected. He made you have butterflies in your stomach. You smiled lightly, having to hold back the urge to run to him. You felt yourself craving his amazing personality, and sweet tone of his deep voice.
Only moments later he was in front of you, his face looking down to you, only because you were shorter than him. You looked up into his beaming eyes.
"Good evening, Y/n." He greeted, his voice smooth with an accent. It nearly made you shiver, as you weren't hesitant to respond.
"Good evening, Chris." You greeted back, smiling just a little wider than you had before. His smirk turned to a smile soon enough as he put his hand out in the middle of you two, to offer taking your hand. Which you gladly put your hand in his, feeling his warm, soft hand engulf your cold one.
"Your hand is a popsicle! Do you feel ill?" His worried tone made you chuckle and you shook your head quickly.
"No! No I'm just fine. My hands are always like that." When you responded, he looked relieved that you were well. Your intertwined fingers as your hands swung to your sides and he nodded as a response.
"Thank goodness." He spoke carefully as both of you entered the restaurant. Dim lit chandeliers hung from the ceiling, lighting the room with a beautiful glow. The carpet was covered in fancy designs with brown, blue and colors that matched the atmosphere. A man greeted you, in a formal uniform, with a name tag that read, "Jackson". Chris and Jackson greeted each other with a bro hug and they talked like they knew each other.
"Jackson, this is Y/n. Y/n, this is Jackson." You waved and said hi, as he did the same. Jackson whispered something in Chris's ear, and Chris nodded. You had no idea what it was about but you didn't mind, because you didn't want to be nosy. Only seconds later, Jackson was leading you and Chris somewhere, what you assumed would be a table. But Jackson led you up a flight of stairs, to an upstairs, even more fancier than the last floor. Your jaw dropped and Chris chuckled as he saw you. He knew that this would be a surprise you, and you finally were shown where you would be seated. A booth in the corner of the large room, padded velvet seats and a small private chandelier handing above you.
Chris sat down, then yourself, across from each other. Jackson handed you menus and left for a moment to let you decide drinks. You stared into the eyes of the handsome man across from you and smiled.it is going to be a scary yet marvelous night.
