Yuki was sitting on the swings, kicking her feet against the ground to spring forward. Her hair flew gracefully through the wind as she glided forward and backward. She watched her friends have fun on the playground as she enjoyed the feeling of the wind. She had glistening white hair and mythical green eyes. Yuki was usually the one who stood out the most. She liked the snow, the icy feeling when it landed on her warm fingertips. Yuki let her hands out to let the snow land on her hands. She closed her eyes, letting her mind think on its own.
Father Genesis came to her and crouched down. She heard the snow crunch as he kneed down. He's very tall and big compared to a little 9-year-old Yuki. She looked up and frowned.
"Yuki. It's time to go." He looked into her eyes. "We don't belong in this world."
"But father..." She spoke, looking away from his face in sadness. "The snow is beautiful... can't I just enjoy it a little more?"
He sighed, ruffling her hair, "Come on, Yuki. You see... people here don't support our species so we need to leave right now before they find us." Father Genesis picked her up from the swing, swiping the snow off the jacket.
Yuki's expression saddened, she looked back at the sky, seeing the beautiful and pure snowflakes scattering around gracefully. "Will we ever go back, Father?"
He hesitated, "Uh... Soon." Father Genesis walked down the playground, off to go home. He already sensed people were spying on Yuki, he needed to run. "Don't look back, Yuki, alright?"
"Why?" She asked, wiping the snow off his eyebrows.
Father covered her eyes with his shivering hand. It suddenly went black and she slowly fell asleep on Father's shoulder. Yuki slept peacefully in his arms as he painfully looked at her in guilt. "I'm sorry, sweetheart." He kissed her forehead and sighed.
He walked for a while. The snow really did seem beautiful today, although Father had serious plans. Just keep walking and time will go fast. Father tried to avoid looking at Yuki's face, he didn't want to see her innocent smile again. He felt he was too guilty to ever witness that. He paused and stopped walking. Father was at a dark alleyway, compacted with snow. He thought for a while and his expression just kept getting worse.
"I know you're in there." He spoke, keeping Yuki stuffed in his shoulder as she was sleeping.
"..." A tall man with a very black suit, red tie, came out. He had red demonic eyes and little bits of facial hair. His hair was swayed to the left, streaks of red highlights glowed as he approached Father. He held his black cane to the ground and smiled with his eyes, "Well. It is nice to see you today, Father."
Father Genesis keenly stared at him with anger. "Let's just get to the point already, Damien."
"Call me, Sir Damien, Father Genesis. Remember to respect your fellow friend." He stretched the corners of his lips farther. Damien pulled out his book and kept flipping the page. "Hmm..."
Father Genesis held Yuki close to him, connecting or syncing their heartbeats together. He sighed and patted her hair, pushing her hair behind her ears.
