P.S. Made some minor changes to the butler's name in chapters 27 and 30 from Adrain to just Ad as I just realised the author switched to using the nickname (short form) of his name in the subsequent chapters, like calling Stephanie -> Steph. The butler's last name isn't mentioned in the story.

1. Lu Hao (吕昊) – Note that the actual pinyin of 吕 is lǚ so Lu Hao is actually Lü Hao but ü is not an english character so 'u' is used instead.
2. her and she (她)– the pronouns 'him' and 'he' are 他 in chinese, which is the same pronunciation (tā) as 她 for 'her' and 'she' pronouns, which is why neither of the parties are clear whether one is referring to a female or male if they don't specifically state the gender. To avoid confusion, I kept it to 'her' and 'she' when translating but italicised the words when Lin Yanchen is the one speaking. (Extra info: 他 is commonly used nowadays for both male and females)
Lin Yanchen's friend, Lu Hao1, suddenly rang Lin Yanchen up, asking through the phone, "You rascal, are you even my bro? You didn't inform me that you came to England. If they didn't tell me you came, I wouldn't even know about this."
Lin Yanchen used to look down upon people who put their lovers before their friends. Now, he found time spent with his friend annoying and a waste of his time, which could be better used for staying with Chu Xun. However, worried that these people would just come looking for him directly, he could only explain, "It's only been a few days since I came back and I've something on. I'll meet up with you guys when I'm free..."
"What's so important?" The other party questioned discontentedly. "Are you in a relationship?"
Lin Yanchen immediately panicked, giving himself away. "Did Tina tell you? I told her not to tell anyone, tch."
"Hahahaha, she didn't tell me. She only said that you're here. You actually admitted when I casually asked that question? When did you become so dumb? Love does more people stupid." His friend laughed.
Lin Yanchen: "..."
Lu Hao asked, "What are you so embarrassed about falling in love? Bring that person out. Let us see what kind of person she is to make Master Lin totally love-struck."
"Then—then, I've to ask her2 if she's willing to meet you guys first." Lin Yanchen suddenly felt shy.
The person on the other side of the phone was silent for a moment, before he complained, "What the fuck, your voice suddenly became super disgusting... Do you need to protect her so much? You're emitting the sour stench of love."
Lin Yanchen laughed softly and brushed Lu Hao off, "I'll talk to you later, I've something on. Let's continue next time."
"Lin Yanchen, you..."
Done saying that, Lin Yanchen hung up the phone without any hesitation, not waiting for his friend's reply. He even instructed his butler to inform any friends who might make these unimportant calls that he was out, and not to allow anyone else into this manor.
How inconsiderate of them to disrupt his time with Ah Xun.
But Ah Xun was still sleeping. He couldn't bear to wake Ah Xun up.
Chu Xun was particularly sleepy these days.
It was already after 12PM when he woke up. How ridiculous of him.
Though, his head was still drowsy.
He sat up and shortly massaged his temple.
Very worried about Chu Xun, Lin Yanchen poured the older a cup of warm water. "I better get a doctor to do a check up for you."
