Chapter 3

After I cleaned up my cut I made me a sandwich. I ate that , switched into my uniform and headed for work. I walked in my work place and suddenly. "SURPRISE!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYDIA!!!!!" I jumped at this wondering how all the people at work knew my birthday.
" Lydia , are you for real? Do you think I'm going to forget my best friends birthday.......again. " Said my best friend Natalie. I giggled At this causing her to laugh also.
"Yeah your right ! " I smile , noticing the cake on the table that says ' we are grateful for this day , September 28 . Happy birthday Lydia. We all love you' .
Yessiree I am turning 18 today. I jump up and down thinking maybe today won't be so bad. I smile thinking this causing me to get funny looks from every one. I get an evil smirk " What are you guys lookin' at!!!???!?!?! " I jump up in their faces causing them to jump and making me giggle.
" OK !!!! LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!!! " Natalie and I say in unison. We cut the cake and munch on it till its all gone. After I eat my last piece of cake (maybe XD) I ask everyone to pay attention to me and I start to speak. " I just wanted to say thank you all for everything. You have no idea how happy I am. " I look at the crowd and see everyone coming to hug me. I didn't realize it but I was crying like a baby. " You are so very Welcome" says Natalie , hugging me tighter. " NATALIE!!!! YOUR KILLING ME!!!!! IM DYING!!!!" I yell tapping her shoulder . She quickly let me go, laughing. I giggled and said my goodbyes . Best. Work . Day. EVER!!! I was walking to my car when I accidentally bumped into this handsome boy with messy dark purple hair that fell in the side of his face only revealing part of his amber purple eyes. Gosh he was cute. "Oh I'm so sorry!" We both said in unison , causing us to giggle and making me turn an unattractive shade of red. "I apologize sir" I say quickly , almost stuttering, trying to hide my blush with my wavy sliver hair . "It's fine and I'm Jasper, Jasper Cobain."
"Oh my gosh!!! As in Kurt Cobain!?!" I say in shock and curiosity . " Haha! No, it's just a coincidence ! " . He laughs saying this causing me to blush harder and probably making me as red as a tomato.
" Would you ever want to go out sometime? Your really.....well....adorable and I want to get to know you more!" . I look behind me , seeing no one, and point at me in confusion . He giggled and said " Yes you ! " .
" Um wait. How old are you ? " I ask . " I'm 18 , what about you? " he smirks saying this . I stare at my shoes " I-I'm 17. And yes I'll hang out with you sometime" . He get the biggest grin on his face making a ' YES!! ' hand gesture. I giggled at this and said " Here's my number ! See you later !" I hand him a note and run to my car. " Did that really just happen?!?!" I say to my self putting on my Eminem CD and driving home.
