A/N: Listening to ATTENTION CHARLIE PUTH

I rushed to the platform with my parents following behind. I can't be late for the train. I got my letter awhile back and it was the happiest I've seen my parents since I started to show magical abilities. Ever since I can remember my parents have been waiting for me to be placed in Slytherin. I don't plan to disappoint them. I made it onto the platform with a few minutes to spare. I turn to my parents as they wrap their arms around my shoulders and pull me into the warmest hug I have felt.

"We are so proud of you y/n," my mother says as they release me.

My father looks into my eyes, "Remember what I said about those Gryffindors. Don't make friends with them. They are a waste of time." I nodded not wanting to hear that speech again. I don't have the same standards as my parents. They only see blood-purity and I couldn't care less about that kind of thing.

"I have to go now or I'll be late. I'll send an owl when I get settled in," I hollered running onto the glimmering red and black train.

I waved from the door and watched my parents walk away like they didn't care I was leaving. I watched all the other parents waving and blowing kisses to the other first years. I was a bit distraught but walked away trying to find a compartment with little or no people inside. I prefer quiet spaces. I spotted a compartment with only two people inside. Scratch that twins, they were twins to be exact with striking red hair the kind you couldn't forget in a crowd.

"Is this compartment full," I inquired.

"No, You can take that seat," they replied pointing across from them. I quickly pushed my things into the overhead bin and sat down. We sat in silence for some time as I just sat reading my book but I could feel them staring at me.

"I'm Y/n, Y/n Davis," I said pushing my long blonde hair behind my left ear.

"I'm Fred he's George,"  replied the twin by the door. I took the chance to glance out the window. He opened his mouth again but no words came out. I smiled because he was speechless and so was I. I knew who they were and they knew who I was. They were Weasleys bound for Gryffindor and I was bound for Slytherin after tonight they wouldn't talk to me again of that I was sure.

"It's nice to meet you both," I finally replied extending my hand. Fred shook my hand first and it felt like sparks on my skin. Did he feel it too? As he pulled back George shook my hand and suddenly it was pins and needles racing up my arm. What is going on with me? My stomach was a ball of knots and we sat in silence for the rest of the train ride.

They helped me get my trunk after the trained stopped and we slowly walked out of the compartment. We were told to leave our things near some carriages. A giant man named Hagrid gathered us near the water's edge and ushered us into boats. I climbed into the boat the twins following behind me and suddenly I was getting sick. They were rocking the boat. This was a bad idea. I couldn't wait to reach the shore. We slowly floated across the water and make it to a dock and I couldn't have been happier to be on land. We walked through the biggest doors I have ever seen and met by a lady who said she was Professor McGonagall and that they would be ready for us in a few.

I made my way with the rest of the first years to the front of the dining hall, noticing the candles that lined the ceiling which looked like the night sky. It was gorgeous, I was mesmerized by it all. Slowly everyone was being called up and I became nervous again.  I took a deep breath, exhaling slowly as my name was called. I swiftly took a seat on the wooden stool and closed my blue eyes. The sorting hat was placed on my head and I shifted slightly. The hat was taking longer to decide my fate. If it was anything other than Slytherin my parents wouldn't be happy. My father wouldn't be happy and who knows what he would do. When the hat yelled Gryffindor I barely got off the stool. My mind was racing as I sat at the end of the Gryffindor table. The twins sat beside me smiling like idiots. The feast began and all I could think about was my father's reaction when he finds out. I picked at my plate and waited to go to my room to get settled in. He'd find out by morning that I am the disgrace they were fearful of. I turned on my music and zoned out for the remainder of dinner.

A/N: I finished this chapter like this hinting slightly that her parents aren't very fond of her, to begin with. I plan to update you with a new chapter in a few days. Hope this chapter makes sense.
