Hinata's POV

"I came here as fast as I could." I tell Naruto and he wraps his arms around me. It surprises me a little, but I hug him back. "Thank you for coming Hina. There's no notice for things like this ya know." He says and wraps his arms around me tighter.

After Naruto told me about Konohamaru, I hung up immediately and got right into my car. I wasted no time at all getting here.

That poor Konohamaru... He seemed like such a nice kid when I met him the other day. I really hope he's going to be alright.

"I just want him to be okay." Naruto says in an upset tone. It's obvious he's trying to stay strong in a time like this. I rub my hand on his back as a way to comfort him and I reassure him.

"Don't worry Naruto-kun, we just have to hope for the best that he'll be alright." I tell him in a soft tone and we pull apart from each other before going to sit down.

I take a hold of Naruto's hand and I give it a squeeze, as reassurance, and I begin tracing along with my thumb.

Pretty bold Hinata! Look at you holding his hand already-

Stop that Hinata! I have to be here for Naruto, not thinking about holding his hand!

"So did they say anything about his condition?" I ask slowly, hoping Naruto doesn't get too upset.

"He's undergoing emergency care right now, so we can't see him. He's... still in critical condition." He takes a deep breath after explaining and I let out a small sigh.

"Come on Konohamaru, you have to push through this." I whisper quietly to myself.

Sasuke's POV

Naruto had called me and asked if I could come to the hospital. Konohamaru was apparently in an accident and was now in critical condition.

I, of course, rushed to get ready and leave to the hospital. Naruto is going to need whatever support he could get right now.

I need to be there for him when times get tough.

I always have been anyways. Naruto and I have pretty much been friends since we were in the sandbox. Maybe even before that. Either way, whatever he's been through, I've been right by his side going through it with him. I've seen Naruto at his best and at his worst.

The same goes for me, that's why we're so close. Although we do have our disagreements and we butt heads too many times to count, we're as close as close can get.

It took only seconds for me to get into my car and drive in the direction of the hospital. Next thing I knew, I was walking into the waiting room of the emergency care.

A smirk finds it's way to my face when I spot my blond friend sitting rather close to a blue haired woman. I shake my head at myself and I walk over to the two, making my presence known.

"Sasuke!" Naruto looks up, his face full of surprise. He stands up and we shake hands and pull into a quick hug. "Thank you for coming. You must've been busy." He tells me, but I shake my head.

"Not at all, how's Konohamaru doing?" I ask him, my concern directed towards his younger brother.

Konohamaru was always a nice kid. I got to know him a lot more after Naruto lost his parents. He was a lot younger then, still is, but he was always cool to hang around. If anything, I even look at him as a younger brother.

"Well he's in critical condition as of right now. They're taking care of him in emergency care." He explains and his eyes fill with worry. I place a hand on his shoulder and he frowns.

"Don't stress too much, it's going to be alright." I tell him reassuringly and he nods once.

"Now," I begin speaking and I look over to the woman sitting beside Naruto, "Who might this be?" I look over to Naruto with a smirk.

He gives a sheepish look and scratches at the back of his head. "This is Hinata, my girlfriend." He grabs her hand and she stands up.

"N-Nice to meet you, I'm Hinata Hyuga." She introduces herself and gives a small smile. She sticks her hand out and I grab it and shake it. "Sasuke Uchiha, nice to meet you." I introduce myself and then I point a thumb at Naruto.

"I'm Naruto's best friend. I bet he's given you a lot of trouble already." I tell her and she laughs.

"H-Hey that's not true!" Naruto crosses his arms and then glares at me. "No he hasn't, not at all." She tells me and Naruto smiles proudly.

One of the nurses come over holding a clipboard with a chart. "Naruto Uzumaki?" She asks and Naruto steps forward. "That would be me."

"You're here for Konohamaru Uzumaki? Is that correct?" She asks and he nods. "We have updated information on his condition. He's currently being transferred to a new room. He's in stable condition now and we'll be able to allow visitors in about an hour." She explains and Naruto lets out a sigh of relief.

"Thank goodness." He whispers out and he covers his eyes with one of his hands.

The nurse nods and looks over to me and Hinata. "We do have a cafeteria on the lower level and we do have vending machines available on the floor. Please feel free to let us know if you need anything." She tells us and we both nod and she walks away.

"We're going to be here for a little while Naruto, maybe we can go downstairs and get something?" I offer but he shakes his head. "No, I wanna stay here until we can see him." Naruto says and I slightly frown.

"Are you sure Naruto-kun? Sasuke is right, you should get something while we wait." She tries to convince him and he looks at her. "If you want, I can wait here and you can go with Sasuke." She looks at me and I nod once.

"Alright, we'll make it quick. Would you like anything Hina?"
