My life in my tita's house is unexpected. She treated me like a daughter. Together with Zillah, I went good. She sends me to school at nakasalamuha ko ang mga pinsan ko.
School life starts.
Kakaibang tingin ang nilalapat ng iba sa akin. They think im a weirdo. Wearing those thick glasses with black rim and two braid made me look like a geek. Zillah told me to wear things like this. Akala ko maganda. It came out na pinaglalaruan ako ng pinsan ko.
She treated me na parang ampon. I really am. But with her attitude, nawalan ako ng confidence sa sarili. I keep myself from people. When they talk to me, I rarely speak. When they laugh, I think na ako ang pinagtatawanan nila.
I grew up with social anxiety. I isolate myself far from people.
Highschool made me have friends. I met Mae. A famous student with a kind heart. Hindi dahil pakitang tao o ano, but she's genuine. She thought me how to socialize. Pero, matigas ang loob kong kausapin ang kaklase ko.
Then, Marie joined us eating. She's a transferee. She looks beautiful even without her braces. I feel ugly. Napapaligiran ako ng mga magaganda. And then, I lose my confidence, again.
The group went bigger. We had Rose, a dancer with a cheerful personality. But a crybaby. I got lots of friends. Pero hindi lahat, kaya akong pakinggan pag nagkaroon ako ng problema. I only got myself.
On my nth grade, I met him. The one who changed my world. A charming guy. But, he used to tease me. Muntik pa siya naging dahilan kung bakit ako nahulog sa pool habang nakacostume. A clown costume.
The moment I graduated, sobrang tuwa ko. 'Di ko na kailangan makipagplastikan sa mga kaklase ko. But, I still have to come to SHS and my college years.
Normal. A normal life is what I have in my college days. Psychology. The course I really want. Nakagraduate din ako, sawakas.
But still, I'm unhappy.
Happiness is the key to success.
And that should be my motto.
