I ear an annoying buzz in my ear so, naturally, I slap it. By it I mean my roommate. By roommate I mean Katie's face. "Bitch did you really have to do that?" Her face was too close to mine to be able to see anything aside from a blurry outline invading my personal space. "Yes. I slap things that annoy me. what's the time?" I sit up as Katie goes to sit on the chair at my desk. "8:30" I stare at her. "KATIE I LOVE YOU BUT WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU WAKE ME UP IF IT'S 8:30 ON A BLOODY WEEKEND?" "BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO MISS THE FUCKING STRAY KIDS CONCERT" I glare at her as she matched my tone. Easy for her, she doesn't need her beauty sleep, it comes naturally. "I need my beauty sleep" "Well it hasn't been working for the past 17 years so I don't know why you're still using that excuse" "Touché" I throw my pillow at her head before getting up to shove her out my room. What should I wear to the concert? I check the weather and it says it's going to be cloudy and kinda cold. Ok. I go into my wardrobe and pull out all my clothes. In the end, I settle something that Katie chooses when she realised I wasn't going to be done deciding any time soon
Once I've changed, I grab my small bag and put in some deodorant, two bottles of water, two granola bars, a packet of strawberry laces and gum. I'm sorry I don't exactly want to talk to stray kids smelling of sweat. I grab my boots and sit on the stairs, waiting for Katie, Mimi and Hana to get ready. I get out my phone and see a text from Lee.
Surprising(Lee): Hey are you ready for the concert??
Me: YESsSSssSs I literally can't wait
