"XO"

"There's been a murderer around town," the head chief said, "there's been eleven dead bodies found but no evidence expect that they've been shot or stabbed."
The policemen/women and detectives all shook their heads.
The head chief organized some papers, "I have a list of who I want to work on that project." He coughed and then read the list, "Minho, Yukhei, Yoon Oh, Hyojung and Chanyeol. If needed i will add more people. Alright meeting dismissed.
Chanyeol sighed, he couldn't believe he was put in one of the hardest projects, eleven deaths with no evidence whatsoever. Chanyeol groaned and plopped down into his office chair and began his work until the red alarm went off.
"We're in need of officers and an ambulance on xone street! Immediately!"
Chanyeol knew he wasn't needed so he stayed calm as officers rushed out of the building.

It was 6pm and it was time for Chanyeol's shift to be over. He scanned out and said goodbye to the service desk and left. He got in his black car and drove off to his home. The tall boy washed up and went to bed.
The next day struck and another crime was done. A girl was murdered in the back alleyway of on South Sun street. Chanyeol was called immediately to the office. He didn't care about his clothing but made sure he ate and quickly rushed to the office.
"Thank you detective Park for making it on time," an officer shook his large hands as he nodded his head.
"So what happened?" Chanyeol asked grabbing a small black notebook and pen from his coat.
"A small woman was murdered," the officer explained, "we don't know her name but we know she was stabbed to death with a knife. Officer Choi should have the weapon bagged up."
Chanyeol nodded and wrote down what he heard, "I'll follow Choi with my car."
Some of the officers left and some stayed behind, Chanyeol got into his car and followed Officer Choi as they drove off to the police inspection room. They arrived as Chanyeol followed Officer Choi. Together the two entered a room and looked at the evidence.
"O-Only a knife?" Chanyeol asked, "really?"
"Oh...I have pictures also," Choi said grabbing photographs from his coat pocket.
"She was strangled," Chanyeol mumbled, "and stabbed."
Chanyeol put white gloves on and grabbed the knife. He held in under the light and grabbed a brush.
"I'll leave you alone," officer choi said closing the door and leaving Chanyeol.
Chanyeol nodded and stroked the knife handle with the brush. Fingerprints, great. Chanyeol hated this part of the job as it always took a long time. It usually took about two weeks to get data back about fingerprints and dna data. Chanyeol sighed and looked back at the pictures, "what the hell..?"
Chanyeol squinted and brought the photo towards the light, "there's a carving... there's a carving!"
Chanyeol smiled and placed the photograph on the table. He turned around and went towards the filing cabinets and took out bags of bloody splattered knives, sorrow photographs, and other murder weapons. He took the photos out and looked carefully and saw the carvings. He organized the evidence by date and noticed how each murder weapon had a different fingerprint. The boy was excited, he had figured out a clue. He grabbed his notepad and wrote down:
Different fingerprints
-possibly trying to frame othersCarving
-initials (?)
-"XØ"He put the notepad down and laughed, "this is too easy."
Chanyeol put the evidence into their individual cabinets and took the gloves off. He walked out of the room and met with Officer Choi, "I got it. Tell everyone there's a meeting about this tomorrow at 7."
