Bill Cipher- the Bill Cipher- watched a tiny girl fall asleep on the soft grass. Pine needles were in her thick hair. Pine needles!
He turned and grabbed Dipper's arm. "Pine Tree! I knew you missed me." He smirked and pulled the boy closer. He seemed taller, and more mature than the summer prior. Of course he was: it had been a year.
The demon lifted his master up and smiled at him. It was a genuine smile, and even Bill was surprised that his face could make such a thing. Dipper stared at Bill and began to tear up. Soon warm tears fell down his cheeks, leaving trails in the dirt on his face.
"You monster!" Dipper screamed, clearly furious. He kicked Bill's knee and was suddenly on the ground. He groaned and tried to blink away his tears. He felt hands on his shoulders and then his cheeks. Someone's soft hands were clearing away the filth and tears from Dipper's face.
"Oh, Pine Tree, I wish you wouldn't have struggled," Bill said as he continued to wipe Dipper's face. "Now you're in pain!"
"Only because you dropped me, Bill." Dipper didn't have an energy to argue or fight anymore. He just laid there, wondering why he was so weak all of a sudden. Just a moment ago he was ready to tear Bill apart, and now he was on the grass, his face being caressed by the beast on top of him.
Bill lifted Dipper up and smiled softly at him. "Well, look at how big you have gotten." He laughed as Dipper glared. "You're feisty even when exhausted, aren't you?"
Dipper scoffed and looked over at the still figure a few yards away. "Minou! Is she alright? If you hurt her I swear I'll-"
"She's fine! Just asleep!" Bill assured Dipper and walked over, kneeling down. Dipper reached out and felt Minou's neck. He held his breath as he waited for a pulse. Soon he found it and let out a sigh of relief.
"If you had hurt her, I would have killed you."
Bill didn't doubt Dipper would try to kill him even if he had killed the girl. He snapped and Minou was gone. "There! Now she's home safe! I assume."
Dipper just shook his head and tried to crawl away. "I shook your hand. You tricked me, Bill! Again...," he said, surely ready to cry again.
Bill watched him with a gentle laugh. "Pine Tree, I didn't trick you! I just talked and you listened. You let me out on your own and now you, well, own me."
Dipper turned and looked at him. "I own you?" He looked deadly in the moonlight, and his sick smile scared Bill more than being stuck in stone.
"Pine Tree?"
Dipper jumped at Bill.
