It's 6:30 am, Monday morning. The worst day of the week. I get up and take a shower and brush my teeth. I put on some sweats and a blue shirt with a flannel around my waist because I was feeling lazy today. I put on BB Cream, concealer and do my wing liner with a light pink matte lipstick. I grab my bag and drive to school in my mom's Toyota at 7:30 and arrive at school at 8:15
I walk into my first period which is Math. I realized I forgot my textbook but it's too late to go to my locker. Hopefully we don't use it today. During the first 5 minutes of class, my IPhone vibrates and I check what it was. It was my mom texting me.
Mom: Did you take my car to school?
Me: um.. yeah why?
Mom: I've told you many times to leave a note. I needed the car today
Me: Sorry mom, I really can't talk right now, I'm in class.
Me: Talk to you at lunch. Bye.
Mom: Okay.
It's now 9:25 and we hear a knock on the door. The popular kid that everyone adores but me, walks in. His name is Cameron Dallas. I told myself I would never fall for the boy everyone loves and wishes to be, and I have completed that.
Cameron is tall. He has black and brown hair. Not much else...
Finally the bell rings to signal first period is over. I get up and turn around to get my bag when I bump into Cameron. My notebook and phone fell but I just started into his eyes as he did the same. Unable to move nor speak. Finally the teacher breaks the moment of awkward silence. Cameron helps pick my phone and notebook
" Looks like someone was using their phone during class", he says. " Um.. well yeah. My mom was freaking out because I took the car", I tell him. He says, " Well maybe i could text you sometime. Just give me your number. " I did knowing I wouldn't fall for him. Maybe we'd become good friends.
It's lunch time and I text my mom.
Me: You still need the car?
Mom: No it's okay sweetie, I found a ride.
Me: Really! Who?
Mom: It's a secret, you'll see when you return from school.
Me: Okay. I love you bye.
Mom: Okay bye have a good day.
Me: I will. Bye.
Right then Cameron texts me
Cameron: Hey what's up?
Me: Nothing. And you?
Cameron: Nothing, I was wondering if you'd want to go to the park with me and some friends.
Me: Like right now?
Cameron: Yes, also if you want you can invite more people.
Me: Sure. See you soon.
Cameron: Okay see you soon beautiful
I did not why he said that but I felt good about it. I put on a cropped top and some high wasted shorts with my red converse and text my friend Chelsea and let her know what was happening. She agreed to come with me. I leave and pick her up.
We get to the park and I see him. I see Cameron. He also see's me and he runs up to me. " You look amazing" he says. " Oh this? It's nothing but thank you." I tell him. " Well let's get going." he says. Right then I feel his hand touching mine. He ends up holding it. That's when I knew not trying to fall for him was going to be harder then I thought..
