"Aaah" I say with a big gulp at the end. "Please don't hurt me" I say with I quiet, cautious voice."Hurt you? WHAT! I could NEVER hurt a child! Something of such innocence should be kept safe." feeling a little stunned, i nod my head at the gentleman. "So...my name is Jack. What's yours?" "I go by the name of Wilbur" says the tall man. "So how did you get here?" I asked rather blankly. "Well, you see...I was in the middle of my hike and now...I don't really remember." "How could you possibly not remember how you got here!" I said starting to get frustrated. "Look I'm real sorry kid, but I honestly can't remember. I must've made a few wrong turns here and there and now I don't know my way back." "Well how long have been out here?" I questioned Wilbur. "Three days" he says. "Three days?" I sputtered "well, do you have anything on you that we could use?" "L...let me have a quick look." He says, uncertain of the contents. "okay, so I've got a sleeping bag, box of matches, a mandarin and two bottles of water." "Okay, that's good enough I guess." I say in a sarcastic tone. "Don't get frustrated with me young man!" He says, raising his voice. "Sorry, but I just thought that if you were going for a long trip you would have brought a bit more than that. And I'm not a kid. I'm 16." "Great, now we have a kid who thinks he knows more about the country he has just crash landed into, than the man who's been living here for 3 years. And not only that, he thinks that he has the right to start showing superiority over me!" I feel silent after hearing that. I felt bad that I was rude towards Wilbur. "Sorry." I say in a quiet voice. "That's okay jack. I get that you're feeling stressed. I'm willing to help you out though, what do you say?" I look deep into his eyes and I put my hand out. "I accept."
