Its still pitch black. The silence between us is defining. "You hungry?" I ask already knowing the answer. "I cooked fish earlier, I got water too."

He seemed surprised hearing my answer. "Most definitely." He replied clearly sure of himself.

I showed him to the safe I had filled with four fish. Now that I think of it, I'm starving as well.

We don't hesitate to dig in. The fish is slimy, yet burnt. I don't really like fish, but for now, its more than enough. He must like it too. I see the simple smirk he makes between each bite.

"How long were you laying there?" I blurt out breaking the silence.

"I have no idea, I just remember drowning and giving up, then ending up on shore." He says it as if he is ashamed in himself. On the other hand, when he said that it made me feel like we could have ended on shore about the same time. Maybe from the same place. He looks familiar.

"Oh. I see." I finally say. The night is so cold. And there is nothing to keep warm with. He is cold too I suppose. He is shivering. "Its cold. I'm going to bed. Your welcome to join if you would like." Then I walk away.

When I climbed in the teepee he was right behind me.

"Its Jake by the way." He said as ducking his head and getting in laying behind me.

I knew he had to have a cute name, and that was a good one. "Okay. I don't remember my name, but when I do I will let you know."

"Sounds fantastic. Anyways. Goodnight." His voice is so amazing.

"Goodnight." I say hiding a gigantic smile that must cross my face from ear to ear.

Then I'm out.
