I returned home, bombarded with questions from Alyssa that included:
"How was it?"
"Why are you so happy?"
"And why are your teeth and lips pink?"I told her everything from beginning to end in a rush without mentioning the name of the person. He's a secret that my family can't know yet and I need at least an hour and a half to get ready before I head out again.
"Who exactly are you meeting up with, Bells? Guy or girl?"
'My client whose name is Harry Styles, possibly a very famous person 'cause he's a singer.' I think to myself
"...Guy," I responded quickly, frantically looking for a cute outfit that didn't have any type of floral print, though that's what majority of my clothing had and I didn't want to blend in with the flower bushes at the garden.
I repeatedly held up pieces together for Alyssa's opinion. We went through about ten outfits before we both agreed that the eleventh one looked the best.
"If mom and dad ask, I went out for dinner... alone." I send her an air kiss before I shut the front door behind me.
Twenty-three minutes until four-thirty. Okay. I can make it in about fifteen minutes if I walk fast enough, thank goodness I decided on wearing sneakers instead of heels.
I wonder if Harry is already there, waiting for me. Gosh, it would be so embarrassing to have him wait an additional thirty minutes all because I couldn't decide on an outfit.
My breathing accelerated along with my heart rate because I decided to pick up my walking speed. I wanted to get there on time even though I'm about ten feet away with three minutes to spare.
Once I finally see the arch, that's being strangled with vines, in a close distance I allowed myself to catch my breath for a second and let my heart beat go back to it's normal pace.
The fresh scent of the flowers entered my nostrils each time I inhaled, there's that familiar aroma I love. And there's that familiar head of brown locks I see as well.
"Harry!" I called out to him as I inch closer.
He turns around confused, searching the area for the person who screamed his name, it's soon replaced with realization when he sees me.
"Bella!" He mocks, flashing me that infamous smile of his.
He engulfed me in a tight embrace before we began our adventure on the stone path that separates the flower bushes on either side of it.
In this moment I felt like I was in the museum again. But, instead of looking at other people's artwork, him and I are admiring the natural creations done by Mother Nature.
It definitely feels like a maze in here from the last time I remembered. The stone path led Harry and I deep into the garden, taking us farther and farther away from the entrance.
I don't mind getting lost in here, if I could, I'd live here. There's no place like the flower garden that could ever give me pure happiness, other than the tattoo parlor, of course.
"Bella, look, a rose bush!" Harry exclaimed, I snapped my head in the direction of where he was looking. But him quickly dragging me made my vision blur slightly before we stopped right in front of it.
These were the freshest, colorfully-bloomed roses I have ever seen in a while.
I picked one up from the grass, it still looked pretty fresh to me. I wonder how it fell off.
I then turned to Harry who had the widest grin on his face. He was twirling a rose in his hand with the stem, admiring its color, shape, and texture.
A smile formed on my face as well when I gently grabbed his arm with the inked rose.
"Look, they're siblings!" I giggled, which caused him to do the same.
We gathered a couple more roses on the grass and placed it on our ears and hair to do a photoshoot. We don't have a professional camera, but we do have a working smart phone. We also don't have those bright studio lights, but we do have natural light.
I ended up taking a picture of his forearm with the tattoos I made on him with the real rose laying below it. I'm keeping that one for the books.
I checked the time and saw it's already five-fifty.
"It's almost Golden Hour, Harry," I tugged on his forearm, making the rose fall back on the grass, dragging him to the perfect spot to stand so that we can bask in the sunlight.
Which happened to be right in front of the water fountain, it's where all the magic happens. The sunlight hits this spot perfectly down on us and makes the water glisten in the fountain as if there were crystals laying on the bottom of it.
I remember coming here with Alyssa before she left to new country for work, that was about five years ago.
I unconsciously smiled at that old memory that I didn't even hear what Harry said from beside me.
"Stay right there," he mumbled, pulling out his phone from his back pocket.
I stood confused before him for a second when I realized he wanted to take a picture of me.
I did my best to pose naturally while he positioned his phone to the right angle.
What caught me off guard was when he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear before taking the picture.
"Beautiful," he whispered as he stared at the picture on his phone before he showed it to me. "You're so golden."
