Harry wasn't kidding when he said his butterfly tattoo was "big." He struggled to take his shirt off since his arm was wrapped up in more plastic but he managed to get it off by himself even though I insisted on helping.
But, other than that, his butterfly tattoo was absolutely beautiful in my eyes. I imagined it to be colored like the many butterflies out there that range from the original orange color we're all familiar with to the pretty purples that are hard to find.
The butterfly on Harry's chest wouldn't be that hard to find if he were to wear a white shirt that was drenched in water, you wouldn't be able to miss the black-ink-artwork on his cream colored skin underneath his see-through shirt.
"You're covered in more tattoos than I thought." I randomly said. Not that it was a bad thing, I just didn't expect to see tattoos on any other part of his body other than his arms. Since that's where most of his ink was.
"Yeah," he dragged. Staring down at his lower abdomen, Harry used both his index fingers to trace the vine tattoos above his groin. "I love tattoos." he whispered.
A short laugh escaped my lips. "I can tell."
Harry took his seat back on the reclining chair, still shirtless. Now, I have been in front of many clients who were shirtless because they were in for tattoos on their upper half but, being in front of a shirtless Harry just made the whole room feel hot.
I could imagine it now, creating large bunches of rose tattoos trailing down his rib cage with no color just pure black ink. I haven't done anything like it before but, I sure would like to do it on Harry. It would look absolutely daring next to his innocent butterfly tattoo.
"What are you thinking about?" He lowly asked, sounding like he was afraid to disrupt me from my thoughts.
I looked into his eyes and smiled, shaking my head. "I was just admiring your tattoos on your chest, they must've been painful to get."
Harry dramatically threw his head back with wide eyes and his mouth agape, returning his gaze to me he said. "Oh, absolutely! I never want to go through that process ever again."
"But what if it fades, are you going to touch it up?" I asked, actually curious to what he was going to say.
That must've got him thinking because he opened his mouth, closed it, then opened it again. "I'll have to think about that but, if I do end up getting my butterfly touched up, I'm coming to you."
I felt flattered. He trusted me, a stranger, with touching up his tattoos despite the fact that I only made two of the same tattoos on him in the span of two days.
"When did you get the butterfly tattoo anyway?" I was genuinely interested in his tattoos, I'd have to meet up with him one day after school or work and ask him all about his ink.
"Back in 2013." He smirked.
"Woah! You got it at nineteen?" Although, I am nineteen right now, I never thought about getting a tattoo, just doing them, also because my pain tolerance is low.
"Mhm," Harry nodded. "But I got my first tattoo at eighteen, which was a star outline but I ended up getting it filled in later." He stretched out his left arm and pointed to a fairly medium star that was drawn on the inside of his upper arm.
And at this moment I realized: Harry doesn't have any colored tattoos, they're all done in black ink.
