Grim swiftly removed her leather bag from her back. She pulled out a large pack of gauze and some herbal healing tea which she had in her colambre before she left her friends.  Grim pulled off the cork on the colambre and put it in the dragons mouth.  He tried to fuss, but she did not let him.

“So,” Grim said, trying to make conversation. “What should I call you?”  The dragon stared at her for a few seconds and replied, “You can call me Drago.”  Grim smiled as Drago sat down in the grass.  “Ok Drago, I am Grim,” the healing girl said.

The large dragon noted, “ It makes sense that’s who you are;  the rest of your group would have most likely skewered me, a defenseless dragon, but you found me and are helping me.” the dragon said happily. Grim smiled at the coment.

“Ok Drago it might hurt slightly, I am going to pull the blade from your shoulder.” Grim says in a whimper.  Grim did not give Drago time to respond.  She yanked the blade from his shoulder. Drago let out a yelp in pain and leaped into the air. Grim ran over to where the dragon had landed, not forgetting her leather bag. When Drago finally calmed down, Grim’s dark eyes went wide, “This is Coal’s blade!” Grim stuttered and fell off the piece of wood she had been sitting on.

Drago frowned as well saying, “Grim, does he have light brown hair and brown eyes?” “Yes.” Grim whimpered.  “Is he alive?” Drago asked. Grim said, “Yes, the boy lives.”  “Good.” Grim said while stopping the wound from bleeding, and covered it in gauze.   “Thank you very much!” Drago said while showing a toothy grin.   “You’re welcome.” Grim said, smiling back.  Grim turned her head toward the sound of foot steps.  Grim’s jaw dropped. “Hey Guys!!!” Grim called to her friends, who were staring at Drago.
