"Yanan-n?" Rebecca said shocked. She didn't expect him to be here. Now that he was here, the memories, him breaking up with her flooded back into her mind, and suddenly all that was on her mind was him.

"I'm sorry, I have to go now." she stammered out and quickly got up, ignoring his hand slid away from him.

"Wait!" he called after her and she froze. Move you stupid, slide away from him. MOVE! 

But she couldn't. She just couldn't. She turned around to face him, and he gave her a weak smile. 

"How have you been?" he asked and Rebecca's heart shattered. Terrible, I've missed you so much, and now that you're here I miss you even more but I can't go back to you.

"Good. You?" she managed out and her brain cursed her for lying.

"Good you?" she said to him but he could tell that she was lying. But he couldn't do anything because she didn't belong to him anymore. She wasn't his girlfriend anymore. He couldn't just waltz back into her life and just comfort her. He couldn't. And that was all his fault.

"I'm sorry." he said.
