Deku was always the happy, cheerful one but when he found out that he didn't have a quirk he was slowly getting depressed. He was constantly getting bullied. First it was laughing at him and some pushing around. Then calling names and small injures. And in junior high it's destroying his stuff and bad injures. At UA he started cutting and attempting suicide.
