the sudden realization
that your feelings are valid
you're suddenly paying attention
to the voice inside you vapidfor that voice is a noise in the void
a voice that gets you so annoyed
it interrupts you like a rude pedestrian
it leaves you feeling paranoidin the aftermath there are moments of clarity
that leave you questioning your sanity
maybe you can't deal with the vanity
of being a part of humanityanalytical and critical
you study yourself, who you've become
becoming very hypocritical
of those who are emotionally numbshut your peripherals
focus on the focal point
breathe in intervals
don't disappointmaybe then
you'll find clarity
you aren't them but
find comfort in similarity
