The large metal doors slam behind me as I'm thrown onto the cold floor. The room around me is pitch black. I can't see anything, not even my own hands. I can feel my body begin to tremble as I push myself against the stone wall behind me. I pull my knees up to my chest as tears form in my eyes. Out from the silence I can hear voices calling out. I first hear a man's voice, "Marrryyy..!" I don't know who Mary is or why he's yelling at me. I next hear a young girls voice, "Hello..? Who's there?" After they both finish speaking is when it starts to descend into chaos. All I can hear is shouting and wailing. I cover my ears and put my head in my knees, a scream escaping my throat. I start to sob, holding my head and rocking back and forth.
"LET ME OUT!" I scream a bloodcurdling scream. I feel something reach down and touch my arm, something cold that burns to the touch. I look up and see a young woman peering down at me. Her gown is stained with blood and her body is radiating a gentle blue glow. "My dear.. Calm down.." The woman has a soft voice, one that almost echoes throughout the room. She sighs and sits next to me, a sad smile on her face. I recognize this one. This is mother.. I lay my head down on her lap, almost instantly calming down. I could hear her soft voice singing to me as she pet my hair. I closed my eyes and let sleep take over me. This is where I stay until the men come and get me.
