I woke up that day knowing exactly what was in store for me. I knew that, once again, I would be dragged out of my room at tested on. I never knew what exactly they were going to do to me, but I knew something was going to happen. Just as I was thinking these thoughts, my door opened and the men came to take me out. They grabbed me by my arms and dragged me down the halls. As I was dragged down the halls I remember passing by my friends room and smiling at it. Her name was Ladybird and she was the most amazing person I had ever met. I was quite sad when they moved her to a different facility..

My smile soon fell once we arrived at our destination. They opened the heavily locked doors and handed me to the workers inside, their faces remaining solemn. I am taken to a large metal table. The table was cold to the touch when they laid me down on it. They strapped me in and whispered something to me. I don't know what, I wasn't really listening. As soon as they had me securely strapped in, they all left the room. I heard them speaking to each other before beginning the testing, but I couldn't hear what they said. One of them pressed a button and I could hear their voice echo throughout the room. "Your testing will begin in a few moments my dear," Their voice sounded uninterested, bored even. "Three, two, one.."

As soon as they said the last number, I could feel the room around me start to heat up. What is this test? Is it heat resistance? I would keep thinking these thoughts until I saw the flames start to creep towards me. They started out as small flickers, but began to grow and spread throughout the room. I started to panic, trying to wiggle my way out of my restraints. I could hear the scientists speak to each other. I heard their voices over the intercoms, yelling to the rest of the people in the building. "Evacuation protocols are now in effect, please find the nearest exit as soon as possible." As soon as I heard that my panic turned to fear. I could see the flames start to come closer to me, the flames starting to almost burn my skin. I tried to let out a scream but no sound came out. Before I could do anything about it, the hem of my hospital gown was on fire. It started to spread up my dress and surrounded my body, all the while I couldn't move. The last thing I remember before my world turned black.
