“Sigh, today’s been a long day.” Bryan muttered to himself, closing the theme park. Today was the grand opening of Freddy Land, and it was more chaotic than they were expecting. He had just finished closing the last entramce when he felt someone come up behind him, which he turned to see Otso.
“Oh, hey Otso.”

“Hey Bryan,” he replied. “I hope today wasn’t too stressful for you.”

“Oh no! It was fine, really! I just need to, uh, you know.”
He reassured him. Otso nodded in response.

“Yea, speaking of that, you need to hire people for your park, Bryan. I know you have them to do it, but there animatronics. They were built to entertain children, except for Helpy, who was built to help you.” Otso reminded him.

“Yea, you’re right. I have to start soon,” Bryan said, fixing his eyepatch in place.

“And Bryan, is your eye okay?”  Otso asked him. He knew he would lie to him, but it was worth a shot.

“My eye is fine, Otso, don’t worry about it.” Bryan lied to him. He knew they were catching on, but he couldn’t tell them, no matter what.

Otso sighed in frustration. “Whatever you say, Bryan. Well, I was about to leave anyways, so if you could-”

“Oh, no problem!” He said, reopening one of the gates, which Otso proceeded to walk out. They waved bye to each other and Bryan closed the gate, walking back to his office. On his way back, he caught a glimpse of a person, who he thought looked exactly like him. He blinked and it was gone. ‘Must’ve been my imagination.’  He thought to himself. He walked through Funtime Chica’s area, and saw Ballora and Baby at the cafe. He left them alone thought, since he had work to do before he called it a night. Once he got to his office, he sat down and opened up his laptop, thinking how long of a night it would be.

~Later~

“Ugh! I’m so tired…” he groaned, drinking his fourth cup of coffee in a row. It was 8:30 at night and he had just finished printing out flyers for his theme park. But he also had to order in a security system, merch, food, and cacti, since Lefty told him he needed more earlier today. He was about to get up and get his fifth cup of coffee, but he saw someone outside his window, which Bryan thought was someone who had stayed in when the park closed or someone who trespassed, so with tired eyes, he got up and dragged his way to the door.

“Sorry, sir. The park is closed you should be-” Bryan began, then stopped when he saw no one outside his window. He was confused, then assumed it was because he was tired and went to the employee’s cafe, only to see the same person again. “I don’t know why you’re here, but I need you to leave, now.” He said, following the person. Bryan was too tired to notice, but this person, wasn’t a person, and this figure was leading him to…. The hotel? Bryan walked in the hotel drowsily, following the “person” upstairs, and into his room, which he couldn’t find them anymore. He fell on his bed, not bothering to head back to his office and tried to fall asleep. He kept having the feeling of someone watching over him, so he sat up and noticed the painting above his bed moved a bit. It scared him a bit, but he moved it to see a room with ladders going up.

“I never knew this existed. I’m going to have to ask Helpy about this..” he told himself. He jumped up and pulled himself into the contained space, climbing the ladders to who knows where. He felt like it was gonna take forever, then he hit his head on a trapdoor, which he managed to open. He climbed out and realized he was on the roof.

“Why is there a secret passage to the roof? And more importantly, why is it in my room? He questioned out loud. He wanted to go back down, but his gut told him to stay up there. He walked around the roof, careful not to fall off. He made it to the front of the building, admiring how much he could see from the height. He lost his footing and fell, but before he could scream, someone had caught his hand.

“Careful there. You don’t wanna fall and break your neck, do ya?”

Bryan looked up to see the “person” he was following up close: they looked exactly like him, but they had red eyes….. weird.

“Uh, can you help me up?” ahe asked the mystery person, not wanting to fall. They pulled him back up in response.

“Thanks,” Bryan thanked the man, still uneasy from almost dying. “But uh, you shouldn’t be here anyways. I’m gonna have to ask you to leave.” He informed the man.

“Well that’s kinda rude, don’tcha think? Especially after I saved your life.” he replied, stepping closer to Bryan, which made him back up to the edge.

“Bryan, get away from him. Now!” Scott warned him. He was watching over bryan this whole time.

Bryan ran past him, but he felt something tug at his arms and was pulled him back. He saw white string, which looked like it was used for puppets, tightly wrapped around both his arms and felt it around his neck, too. He only then realized, this “person wasn’t a human at all.

“Wh-what are you?” he croaked out, scared about what might hape next.

“Why does that matter at the moment?” he replied to him. “You should be more worried about yourself.”

Bryan could feel himself getting weaker by the second. He couldn’t fight back anymore, and just like that he passed out.

“Hehehe, let’s have some fun, my new puppet” the entity chucked and he and the strings disappeared in a flash. He was now the one in control.

“BRYAN!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP THERE!? GET DOWN, NOW!!” Rockstar Freddy called out. He and Lefty were just taking a walk outside when they saw “Bryan” on the roof of the hotel.

Bryan was able to gain control of himself for a little bit, so he turned and warned them both. “Guys! Run away from me! There’s someone possessing me and they’ll hurt you! Go! Run!”
“BRYAN, QUIT FOOLING AROUND AND GET DOWN!!” Lefty shouted back at him.

“Please listen to me! Just go before-” Bryan tried to warn them, but the entity gained control again. They said nothing at all, which made their friends worry.

“How are we gonna get him down from there!?” Lefty panicked.

“I don’t know! How did he even get up there in the first place!?” Rockstar Freddy retorted. They were to busy panicking, that they didn’t notice what happened to Bryan.

Crack

They both turned their attention to the noise and they couldn’t believe their eyes; Bryan was lying on the ground, dead silent. As if he was good as dead. Lefty aproached him with fear in his eyes,  and called his name. “Bryan…?”

And like that, “Bryan” went from lying dead silent on the ground, to gripping Lefty’s arm witha knife in his hand, laughing like a psychopath.

“Lefty, get back!” Rockstar Freddy yelled. Lefty pulled his arm out of “Bryan”s grip and backed up. “Bryan slowly got up and held his knife in a threatening way.

“You should’ve listened to your friend up there and ran while you had the chance.”

“Who are you and what did you do to Bryan!?” Lefty shot at him.

“I’m afraid I can’t answer that last question,” he replied. “But you can call me, E.B. Now, i would start running if I were you.”

Rockstar Freddy pulled Lefty’s arm, and they both ran, with E.B. chasing them. This is gonna be a long night for all of them.
