𝕴'𝖒 𝖘𝖔𝖗𝖗𝖞 𝖙𝖔 𝖑𝖊𝖆𝖛𝖊 𝖞𝖔𝖚, 𝕴'𝖑𝖑 𝖘𝖚𝖗𝖊𝖑𝖞 𝖗𝖊𝖒𝖊𝖒𝖇𝖊𝖗 𝖞𝖔𝖚.

A raven haired girl walked calmly down the streets, water droplets hitting the hood of her rain coat. She sighed before slipping her hands in her pocket, looking towards her so-called home behind her.

It was hard, knowing her parents weren't with her anymore at such a young age. Watching her own family die, knowing that she couldn't do anything to save them.

She looked forward, about to leave the forest, when suddenly, the pitter-pattering on her head stopped, although, it was clear that the rain was still ongoing. In confusion, she looked up to be met with a gigantic leaf that was hovering above her. Her mouth went agape as she stared at it, suddenly feeling a tingling sensation in herself.

"Mom... Is this what you were talking about? Alice?"

"Kanna-chan! Oi!! Are you even listening?!"

A certain brunette stopped her train of thoughts. "Ah... I'm sorry, Mikan-chan. Would you mind repeating?" Kanna said with a sheepish smile. "Geez, you need to stop spacing out!" Mikan said with a pout. Kanna giggled slightly, before hearing the door open. "What were you thinking about, Kanna?" Another ravenette asked. "You know, the usual." Kanna replied. "Hotaru! You're back!" Mikan smiled.

"Hm. It's past my bedtime. I'm going to bed." Hotaru said monotonously. "Aww, but I wanted to have a slumber party!" Mikan whined. "M-Mikan-chan... It's not good to stay up late, and besides, we have school tomorrow...." Kanna said, taking off her glasses. "Aw, fine." The brunette pouted, eventually giving in.

The next morning came by rather quickly. The three students walked to school together, greeted everyone. Well, not exactly all three of them.

Kanna was shy, timid and aloof if you're not close enough. She warms up to people gradually. She always brings her scarf around to hide her face in. Not everyone knows why she always brings it along.

As the day passed by, she had a feeling that something will happen, but of course, shrug it off.

Soon, the day is nearly over, and Kanna somehow found herself and her brunette friend running. Well, kind of. Kanna was a bad runner and had to cling onto Mikan in order not to fall.

Although...

That was crushed once Mikan jumped towards Hotaru, causing Kanna to trip over. "You big foolish moron!" Mikan yelled, as Kanna just managed to stand up. Hotaru hit the poor brunette who was about to send her a flying kick away with a fly swatter, sending Mikan flying.

"Time is short. If you have something to tell me, tell me now." Hotaru said, with Kanna now clinging onto her sleeve, slightly scared of the brunette, although she has seen this several times.

"I got this letter from you, Hotaru.. It says, 'I'm going to a school far from here,' but you're leaving today, and furthermore this school has all elementary, middle, and high schools connected," Mikan said, crying. "It's probably because you're a crybaby...." Kanna muttered in audibly.

"It's all true..." Hotaru bluntly said. "Don't send such an important letter through tortoise mail!" Mikan yelled. "If I had told you earlier, you would have made a racket." Hotaru stated calmly. "Hotaru, you are a big insensitive fool!" Mikan said. "Why didn't you tell me about such important thing?!" She continued. "Silly Mikan... You don't have to cry like this. I will be back for summer and winter vacation. Besides, we will write letters." Hotaru said. "But hotaru.." Mikan muttered. "Hm.. What an ugly face." Hotaru said, stroking Mikan's face. "Let's pretend this tortoise is a farewell gift. Be good now." Hotaru said, giving Mikan the tortoise. "It's tune to leave!" The people from the academy informed.

"... Kanna. Let's go." Hotaru said, causing the two females to look at her in shock. Kanna pointed at herself, "M-Me?" She stuttered. "Hotaru! How could you leave me but take her!" Mikan whined. "The school is reserved for geniuses." Hotaru stated blandly, taking Kanna with her. Mikan is suddenly reminded of the red circles on her test paper as an irk mark appeared on her face.

Hotaru pulled the ravenette towards the car, leaving Mikan. "A-Arent you being a little too harsh?...We all know she's an idiot... But... She's your best friend." Kanna muttered. "The school is reserved for geniuses." Hotaru stated once more. Kanna sighed before looking at the window, soon falling asleep.

"... Na.
Kanna.
Kanna, wake up."

Kanna's eyes fluttered open, soon panicking when she saw that her scenery has changed. "Calm down, we're at the academy." Hotaru stated. Kanna calmed down immediately after hearing those words and stepped out of the car after Hotaru did.

In front of the gate was a blonde male with purple eyes. "Ah, you must be Hotaru Imai. I'm Narumi." The blonde male said. He soon noticed the ravenette who was hiding behind Hotaru's petite figure. "Oh? Who's that?" Narumi asked. As soon as Hotaru saw his extended hand, she walked backwards two meters, sending the teacher a sharp glare.

"Narumi-sensei. Can you hear me?" She said through a megaphone. Narumi sweat dropped before using his hands, "Yes, but why are you so far away?" He said. "I don't want to get infected by the stupidity disease." Hotaru stated bluntly. Narumi's face looker of pure offense, but Hotaru payed no mind to it.

After introducing themselves, they went in the building, receiving their uniforms, and changing into them. A dirty blonde haired male with glasses entered the room. "Ah, girls! This is Iinchou, the class rep." Narumi said. "Iinchou?" Hotaru questioned. "Ah, that's just a nickname. I'm Tobita Yuu." The blonde male said. (Auto correct corrected it to blind male I-) "Ah, I see. I'm Hotaru Imai. She's Kanna Tsujihara." Hotaru introduced, with Kanna peeking out from behind her with a small wave. "Now, let's go to your new classroom." Narumi said with a clap. "If you don't mind, I would like to talk with Kanna for a moment. Alone." Hotaru said monotonously. "Alright, we'll wait outside." Narumi stated.

"Alright, Kanna. Before we go to the classroom, I have some rules set up for you." Hotaru stated bluntly, making Kanna sweatdrop. "First, you have to get no less than a 90. If you get any less, I will start charging you. Second, no boyfriends." Hotaru said. "Boyfriend? Am I... Not allowed to have male friends?" Kanna questioned.

"You are allowed to have male friends. Just not boyfriends." Hotaru said. "Then... What's a boyfriend?" Kanna asked. "A boyfriend is like a meanie. He tells the girlfriend to do things for him. And a girlfriend is like a slave. Understood?" Hotaru explained. Kanna nodded. "Alright. Third, always get on the teacher's good side. But not that blonde one. He's a pedophile. Fourth. Don't talk to that sensei unless it's about lessons. And the last and most important one. Don't tell the teachers what your Alice is. Use the less dangerous one. Got it?" Hotaru said. Kanna nodded in affirmation. "Now, let's go." Hotaru said, pulling the girl along with her out of the room.

"Are you done?" Narumi asked, to which Hotaru nodded to. "Great, now let's go to the classroom!" He said.

The four of them soon arrived at the classroom with the sign 'B' on it. "A-ano, if you have any problems, feel free to come to me to ask questions!" Iinchou said, opening the door. They stepper in, Iinchou going to his seat as Narumi went to he teacher's table.

"Alright, class! We have two new students! Please welcome them warmly. Introduce yourselves." He said before seeing the students with confused faces, and a boy with his hand raised. "Yes?" Narumi asked. "Uhm, you said two, but where's the other one?" The boy asked, which made the teacher turn his head towards where the two were supposed to stand.

"Imai-san, where's Kanna-chan?"
