(Crystal's POV)
He dropped me gently on to the forest floor and I looked up at him to see that his eyes were dark black with sexual lust and need.
"Darling, you don't know how amazing you looked in the heat of battle." He murmured huskily.
I smirked and motioned down him to me silently with my index finger. Complying, he climbed over me, running his nose over my mating mark, sending shivers down my body.
"Darlin', it's been to long since I've marked you. I feel compelled to do so again and plan to mark you in three different places." He murmurs, leaning in and kissing my neck. I couldn't help but to moan and purr at his touch. "I plan on marking you here," he placed a gentle kiss on my pulse point over my current mating mark. "Here," He ran his hand down, making a gentle circle over my hip. "And here." He ran his hand to the inside of my thigh, high up near my center. As he tells me this, he continues to repeatedly kiss every place he could get to along my neck, shoulders and collar bone.
Finally, he pulled away from me and looked down at me with that sexy smirk of his. The next thing I know, my clothes are ripped off, and I am left completely bare underneath him.
Chapter 23
(Bree's POV)
It's been three hours since Crystal ran off with Jasper to where ever disappeared to. However, I had a pretty good idea what they were doing.
I was currently sitting in the living room with Alice, Rosalie, and Esme, or I guess I should be calling her grandma Esme since she's the closest thing to a grandmother I'll ever have. Kind of like Crystal being the closest thing to a mother I could possibly have.
The four of us girls were in the living room giggling while chatting about our plans for Edward and his human mate, Bella's, wedding. Or well, Alice and Esme were as Rosalie sat next to the reading a magazine, giving her opinion only when asked. I really didn't want to be in the room with their constant chattering about flowers and dresses, but I seemed to have nowhere else to go at the moment, not even with Carlisle - or should I say grandpa Carlisle - who was at work, currently. Not to mention, Crystal warned me that it would not be a good idea to hang out with Emmett alone unless there was someone else close by.
I was so deep in thought that I didn't hear said vampire sneaking up on me.
"Boo!" Emmett shouted from right behind my left ear.
I jumped so high in the air that it might have looked as though I were levitating.
"Damnit, Emmett, what the hell is your problem?" I snarled.
My irritation didn't seem to bother him as he practically rolled around on the floor laughing.
"Language, Bree." I heard Grandma Esme say to me from the other side of the living room in a stern voice.
"I'm sorry Esme." I briefly turned to apologize before focusing my attention back on the culprit who had gotten me into trouble in the first place. "Emmett, what do you want?" I sighed in exasperation.
He actually had the decency to look remorseful as he apologized. "I'm sorry little niece but I couldn't resist once I saw how zoned out you were in your own thoughts. But I swear I didn't just come all the way in here to scare you; I could see that those wedding plans were boring you to tears, so I came to see if you wanted to play Dance Dance Revolution with me."
I eyed him suspiciously. "Crystal warned me not to hand around you alone, since you have a way of getting people into trouble." I said, mentally rehashing on how he had gotten me yelled at by Esme just moments ago.
