So I went back to my room to go and pack my stuff and then I ran out the door yelling, "alright! I'm ready to go!!!", nearly forgetting a few of my most important things. I had to go back and get them obviously.

I spent nearly a good 10 minutes looking for my water bottle that had a filter thing so that I could drink stream water without any risk of getting a disease. I grabbed my solar powered charger thing, for my phone, off of my dresser, when something fell off the shelf after it. It was the small knife, and piece of flint that my dad gave to me for when we used to go camping when i was younger.

This was way before he started drinking and it made me think about how good of a dad he was, and how he was like my hero back then. I had started tearing up from all of those memories, and because how happy I was back then, and how miserable he made my life recently.I started to actually cry, no sound, just tears falling. I missed my dad, I know he died literally 20 minutes ago, but still.

I wish that I had calmed down, and went back to say that I was sorry, but I was too mad to think, and I didn't want to see his face.
"Ugh! I'm Such an idiot!!", I screamed. Jack heard, so he ran upstairs to find me on the floor crying. "Umm, Shayleigh?" he asked. We kinda have to go...I'm not trying to rush you or anything, but we can talk about this later if u want.

"Alright, I guess." I replied.

I finished putting everything in my bag, ran downstairs, hugged my mom, told her goodbye and that I love her (I'm not making that mistake again), and headed out the door.
