Chapter One: Let's get to work

💙NICK'S P.O.V.💙

"Nick, dude come on wake up!" Joe my brother said throwing a pillow going at full speed to wake me up.
"Mmm?" I groaned, putting my face deep into my pillow.
"What was that?" Kevin my oldest brother asked. I uncovered my face for a second to see the really bright sun gleaming through the window. I squinted. To bright.
"Close the blinds." I spat in my annoyed morning voice.
"Can't sorry. Mom said to wake you up. Some guy named Daniel's coming." Joe explained.
"Daniel? Daniel Sycamore? As in my new manager?" I asked finally sitting up all the way.
Kevin nodded his head, "Yeah, that's the one."
I sighed again, this time standing up.
"He's coming now?" I asked stretching.
"Yeah, that's what mom said."
I shook my head, "I have plans."
Kevin chuckled, "Ooo with Nikki?"
"Yes with Nikki, who else?" I spat, like duh. She's my girlfriend.
"I don't get why, I mean your name's Nicholas, and hers is Nicole almost the same exact name like we call you Nick, we call her Nikki. It's stupid, Nick and Nikki." Joe shrugged.
"Joe, why don't you just shut up?" I said, "Now would you get out? I have to change."
They nodded their heads and before leaving the room Kevin turned around to say, "Be down stairs in 10 minutes lil bro."
I shook my head and took out my phone to call Nikki.
~Phone call convo~
Babe: Hey baby whats up?
Nick: Hey, we can't go to the park today, Daniel Sycamore's coming.
Babe: Oh alright then
Nick: How about you come over and we can maybe duet a little.
Babe: Sure, see you there.
~End of conversation~
I smiled as I changed.
I went downstairs as soon as I heard the door.
"Daniel came early?" Mom asked.
I opened the door.
"Nikki?" My mom gasped.
"Nicholas Jerry Jonas, I tolled you no visitors today!"
"Oh, I'm sorry Mrs. Jonas, I thought maybe Nick and I could sing a little in the studio, if that's alright? Just while Daniel gets here." Nikki explained and winked at me.
Mom sighed and let her in.
We walked to the mini studio we have in the garage and sang a little, singing random songs until the door opened.
"Hello Nicholas, you guys sound great together, but I'm afraid Nicholas can't have any distractions right now." Daniel said referring to Nikki.
Nikki nodded her head in understanding and walked out.
"Hello Nicholas." Daniel greeted once again sticking his hand out to shake mine.
I smiled, shook his hand, and said, "Please, call me Nick."
We sat down and spoke about what kind of music I play, and where I'd like to sing at tours.
"So tell me a little bit about yourself." I said.
"Oh, no, I'll keep my personal life out side of my working life. Anyway, I think that's all I need to know, I'll come back tomorrow after noon to work on some music with you sound good?" Daniel asked standing up.
I nodded my head and smiled, "Of course."
I liked Daniel, he was better than my last manager. David Walsh. My brothers and I set up a prank to get annoyed and want to quit, and boy am I glad.
Daniel can make me big star, I believe in him and he believes in me.
