Chapter Two: Perry the Platypus

"C'mon Melody~ say your first word! Finn already said "mama"...it's your turn!" Isabella cooed to a two year old Melody. Mel and Isabella were sitting on the living room floor. Phineas and Junior were cooking and a two year old Finn was (trying to) playing with Xavier and Fred on the backyard.

Perry was laying next to Melody...they were almost the same size so it looked adorable.

"Pw-Pw...Perry!" Melody ended up exclaiming. Isabella looked kinda disappointed...but her daughter finally spoke, so she picked Melody up and spun around.

"Squeee! Darling! Melody said her first word!" Isabella said happily. Phineas poked in.

He kneed down a bit "Really? Say it, kiddo!" He said with a wide smile.

"Perry!" Mel exclaimed. Perry did one of his noises. Phineas and Isabella looked at each other and giggled.

~Present Time~
Melody was snoring lightly, hugging lightly a young-looking Perry the Platypus.

Perry used to be a secret agent of OWCA, the Organization Without a Cool Acronym, until he decided to retire to spent time with Phineas and Isabella's new kids, Junior Charles, Finn Israel and Melody Isabelle Flynn.

His personal favorite was Melody...well, at least, the one he only letted sleep with him and play with. The others were a bit to harsh with him...well, Finn was in the middle of love and hate.

He had a translator now, after five years, so he could talk...when he wanted to talk.

It was almost dawn when a familiar beep came out of his old OWCA watch. He grabbed his agent hat and, in a blink, he was in his old headquarters under the house.

He was received by Commander Carl...the new manager of OWCA, he was Mayor Francis Monogram's old intern and was put manager after Monogram's retirement.

"Hello, Agent P!" Carl greeted "It's good to see you again!".

Perry groaned then said through his translator "It's this why you call me, Carl? I've been in retirement for nine years".

Carl cleared his throat "Anyway! I called you down here 'cause Dr. D has activated a new inator and all our active agents are at their Foreign Mission Day".

Perry sighed and adjusted his agent hat "I'm on it" he said through the translator and took off.

"Mommy? Where's Perry?" Mel asked tugging the low part of Isabella's light pink shirt.

"I don't know, Melody" Isabella said, but when she turned around as she was cooking, she saw Melody's worried expression and Isabella picked her daughter up in her arms and said "Don't worry, though! Perry used to disappear most of the days when your dad and I were kids" she explained.

Melody just looked at her mom with her big, adorable, brown eyes.

"Mom? Mom! JC hit me!" Finn yelled from across the house.

"Not true! Don't believe him, Ma!" Junior yelled from across the house as well. Isabella just gave an exhausted sigh.

"You must be the only angel in this family, babygirl" Isabella said and kissed Mel's forehead and putted her down so that she could put the breakfast on the plates.

"Mommy? Where is papa?" Mel asked once more. Isabella pointed upstairs.

"Your dad is upstairs in his office...I recommend that you knock the door before you enter, honey" Isabella said with a smile. Melody nodded and went upstairs and knocked on Phineas's office's door.

After a minute or so, Phineas opened the door and saw Melody.

"Oh! Hi, sweety" Phineas said readjusting his glasses and smiled a bit "I'm busy, darlin...can we talk later?".

Melody looked up at him "Papa...I just wanted to ask you if you have seen Perry anywhere" she explained.

Phineas laughed a bit to himself "I have no idea where he could be...but he used to disappear for a while when your mother, Uncle Baljeet, Uncle Buford, Aunt Candace and I were young" he replied.

"Yeah...that's what mommy said! But I'm worried...what if he goes missing?" Mel asked nervously.

Phineas kneed down "Knowing Perry...he'll come right back home" he said optimistically and with the comforting smile of his. Melody couldn't help but just smile back with her two front, missing teeth.

"This is a desitigrator-Inator 2.0!" Doof explained. Perry just sighed frustrated.

He talked through the translator "Lets get this over with".

After a while and the same old routing. The inator was blown up and Perry flew off in his old rocket thingy.

He was so done with this.

"Behold! Papa and I's machine!" Melody exclaimed as she showed what her dad and her built yesterday.

Finn and Junior looked in amazement. The machine was this weird building that looked really cool and was super mega tall.

"Whats this building?" Finn asked looking up into the sky to where the heck the building ended.

"It's the remodeled version of papa and Uncle Ferb's old building to the moon!" She explained happily.

Junior was speechless.

"You and dad built...that?" He stuttered. She hummed and nodded happily.

"Kids~!" They heard Isabella say and when they turned around...the building just desintrigarted into thin air.

"What the-?" Junior asked himself, but his younger twin siblings were already running in to each dinner.

"That sure is one weird mystery" Junior said under his breath to himself.

"I am starving! Like, a lot!" Finn said, slamming the forks on the table with Junior.

"Yeah!" Junior added/exclaimed. The two boys were starting to eat up as the plates were putted in the table by Isabella. Isabella sat next to Phineas at the table.

She glanced at Melody, who was barely eating haft the food.

"Kid, is everything ok?" Phineas asked Melody, who was sat next to him and Finn.

"Yeah...I just miss-" she was cut off by the familiar Perry the Platypus sound we all adore.

She grinned and got down and hugged him, spinning around.

"There you are, Perry! I've missed you!" She said.

Her brothers looked at her and Perry "Oh...Hey, Perry" Finn and Junior said in unison.

Isabella nudged Phineas and giggled "Who does Melody remind you of?" She whispered to her husband.

"Her handsome father!" Phineas said proudly. Isabella shoved him a bit playfully and they both laughed.

Mel, now very happy, putted Perry's bowl next to her seat and Perry started eating his food.

Melody got on her chair, after struggling a bit, and started eating happily.

The Flynn kids were happy, joking and teasing each other, but they were laughing and giggling.

Isabella and Phineas looked at each other and decided to speak to each other, now that the kids were getting along (which is kinda rare).

"This kids will be the death of me" Phineas whispered/joked.

"But it was worth the wait wasn't it, Phineas?" Isabella smiled at Phineas and giggled a bit.

They looked at their gremlins and they both smiled at them. They didn't noticed, though.

"They remind me of us as kids" Isabella whispered.

"Now you realize" Phineas teased. And the Flynn family was happy at the dinning table.
