The next few weeks died down with the gay rumor, but it never really ended, because Blake kept it alive and he was the first to "come out" in his group. Danny wasn't really worried, though. Blake was a natural asshole and no one liked him. And, his friends didn't believe the rumor, so they treated him the same. But, one day, Blake, as usual, brings it up, in front of the whole class while the teacher went to make copies of a sheet. Duke heard. Oh shit. Duke heard the gay comment. "It's fine, Blake is annoying. Brush it off, he's just making rumors to make himself look good." But Duke didn't know that it wasn't just a rumor. 15 minutes after the teacher comes back, Danny can't stop thinking about the cruel comment. He almost tears up when the bell dismisses the class, and his thoughts. He bumps into Blake from the school hall-traffic and Blake tries to shove him into a locker. Typical bullying. What an asshole. Danny managed to escape before he was late for class, though. Blake will get revenge for the escape. Danny knows it. He just has to brace for it and take it, maybe then Blake will leave him alone.

Danny made it to class on time. Everything went fine. The usual girls messing with him. "Hi Dannyyyyyyyy~" They would say. When Danny wouldn't respond, they would get annoyed, and some would get angry. Or they would laugh. It was only the good days when they laughed.' Women are so complicated and annoying.. Why do they have to exist, again? For children? Can't we just let the men get pregnant? We're better off that way anyway.' Danny would think. Maybe some people love women, but if there were only men, they would love men. Maybe he should just get rid of all women, then he wouldn't be harassed for being gay. That was going to be the plan, get rid of all the girls. Maybe, all but one.

Alessandra was the only girl that was nice to him. The two had been friends forever and he trusted her greatly; even with his biggest secret. She was also the only one who knew the truth, that Danny was in fact gay. He had confided in her when they were just in 4th grade. Danny struggled throughout the year with the harassment. Blake, teenage girls, everyone but Duke, Jordan, and Frank. The insults are getting worse and worse. Alessandra helped him through it all. What a great best friend he would think to himself
