They cut me everyday. That is why I have grown so accustomed to pain, and why I have the scars of my back. They whipped me when I would disobey. They choked me when I refused. That is why I escaped.

And yet, why am I being treated the same way by those who I thought were my friends, who I escaped to?

I could no longer feel anything: the cuts, the blood, the tears. I could only feel the raging fire in the pit of my stomach, hungry for revenge.

This needed to stop.

I was going to stop it.

I had to stop it.

I would stop it, or I would die trying.

I knew what I had to do. I just had to do it.

It was time to join The Rebellion.
