It was Sunday afternoon. I was sitting crossed legged on my bed with a carton of half baked Ben & Jerry's. My hair was in a messy bun and I was currently in the same pajamas I slipped on Friday. I know it sounds gross but after being dumped by the guy you thought was "the one" all you want to do is lay in bed and cry. That's exactly what my weekend consisted of. I was in the middle of watching the movie "If I Stay" when Em walked in demanding I get my lazy ass out of bed.

"Come on Lily, I get you're upset but he isn't worth your tears or the calories" She said as she pointed to the mountain of candy wrappers that layed on the floor next to my bed and the four bags of popcorn as she pushed my laptop aside, sat down on my bed facing me with a questionable look on her face.

I had literally eaten all of my halloween candy that was about two weeks ago in the matter of three days and let me tell you it wasn't no grocery bag, it was a trash bag full.

"Why can't you just let me have my little therapy session and I promise that when I go back to school tomorrow i'll walk in with my head held high" I said.

She laughed and rolled her eyes at me "Just remember to shower and brush your teeth, you're breath is kicking".

I laughed "I promise. So anyway let me guess my mom was worried about me and called you, so you can cheer me up" I said.

"Exactly" She said with a huge smile on her face and adding "And I promised her i'd take you out to the mall" She said and got up and pulled my arm so I can stand up with her.

"But I don't want to go anywhere" I whined as I made my self heavy so she couldn't pull me up.

"C'mon I promise we'll have fun and when I give you a makeover and Jason sees you tomorrow he's going to regret breaking your heart".

" UGHH! Okay let me get ready" I sighed.

"Yay! Finally you let me dress you like girl" She said clapping her hands.

"Are you trying to say I dress like a guy?!" I gasped.

"No offense Lily but you can wear something that fits you instead of a size bigger " She stated.

"I like being comfortable" I replied.

"You can be comfortable with a pair of fitted jeans and a nice blouse that shows your curves".

"I already said okay Em, just not skirts okay or crop tops, I'm still not that comfortable yet".

"I'm so excited! Go change!" She said clapping.

"And shower" She said while logging into her Facebook on my computer as I turned away from my closet and go into the bathroom.

--

"I'm so not wearing this to school" I gagged as I was looking at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a black high waisted skirt that barely covered my ass and a long sleeve shirt that was tucked in.

"You look so hot in it!" Said Emily.

"I said I would try it on, still told you no skirts so i'm not taking this" I told her.

"Fine fine" She said holding up her hands in surrender.

"Thank you!" I smiled.

After grabbing a late dinner with Em, she drop me off at home. It felt nice to go out. I was feeling better about the whole break up. I was ready to walk in tomorrow with a smile on my face.

After laying my bags on my bed, I went over to my dresser turning on my iHome, plugging in my phone and putting on Pandora. Right away the Simple Plan station I choose started playing "Perfect". I love this song. I turned up the volume and started putting my clothes away, which surprisingly Em managed to find clothes I liked.
