"so what was it that you needed to buy?" eddie asked.
they were walking through town and eddie desperately wanted to know where they were going so they could get inside and out of the snow.
"my old winter boots don't fit anymore so i need new ones," richie replied, looking down at his wet sneakers.
"you're gonna get sick! you could get frostbite!"
"calm yourself. we're getting boots right now."
richie led eddie into a shoe store. he didn't really know brands or anything so he just picked out a pair of plain black boots. he paid for the boots and they walked outside. they were walking back to eddie's car when richie spotted a pair of dark blue jeans, they seemed like some sort of mom jean. richie thought they would look great on eddie.
"hey eds! you should get that pair of pants." richie walked into the store and eddie followed him.
eddie looked at the price tag.
"this is way too expensive!" eddie said.
"don't worry about that," richie told him, holding up the other tag. "it's 50% off."
"oh cool, i think i can afford that now."
"if you let me I can make them 100% off," richie winked.
eddie blushed. "fine, I won't buy it."
"hey no need to get all worked up. it was just a joke eds."
eddie picked up the jeans and went to go try them on. richie waited outside the change room. eddie put the jeans on and walked out to go see it in the mirror.
"looks great on you," richie said. "but you know what they would look even better on?"
"what?"
"me bedroom floor." he winked, making eddie blush.
"i am literally gonna beat you up."
eddie changed his pants back and payed for it. they walked outside.
