The Dare Started It All

"Alright class is dismissed!" I heard Mrs. Jace yell as the bell rings. Now that bell is mental, like I'm not even joking with this one! It doesn't even carry out a 'ring' sound, it's just the ball hitting the metal repeatedly, making this dull sound.

I grab my bag and stuff all of my belongings into it before walking out of the classroom. I twist my body as I walk out of the doorway, as I take a step forward I trip over a pair of pearly white stilletos. Great, just who I wanted to see.

"Oh. My. God!" I hear being yelled across the hallway in a high-pitched scream. "These were designer! And you just dirtied them with your stupid Converse!" Julie Richards yelled as I slowly get up off the ground.

When I'm fully on my feet I look to Julie and roll my eyes. "Oh I'm very sorry your Highness! Would you like me to polish them for you?" I curtsy and then roll my eyes. "Yes I would! Get down on your knees and clean my shoes!" She screams.

I roll my eyes for the third time in the matter of two minutes. "Tch." I turn and walk away with a screaming Julie behind me. I make my way out of school and see Jay leaning against his car. Normally I don't need a ride from him but my car broke down.

"Hey ma dude!" I say as I walk up to the car. Jay looks up from his phone and smiles when he sees me. "Hey bitch! Ready to go home?" I nod my head and hop in to the passenger seat. "Yes!" I sigh as I turn the air on.

"Another encounter with the Queen of Bitches huh?" Jay asks as he pulls out of the school's parking lot. I nod my head and look out the window. "I wish I could beat her up so bad, but I don't want to go to jail."

I hear Jay sigh and I look over to him. "Levi, I want you to beat her to a pulp too! You're the best fighter at this school! You could easily beat her ass! But we both know she would do everything in her power to land you in jail." I nod my head and sigh as I lean back in my seat.

Jay pulls into the driveway of our home and we make our way inside. "I'm gonna go upstairs, I have homework to do." I say to Jay and make my way up the stairs.

I open the door to my room and drop my bag on the floor. My room consists of red walls and black railings. I have a few pictures on the walls of my family. My mom, dad, my two siblings, and then my grandpa and his wife.

My parents died two years ago in a bombing in Las Vegas and to say it crushed my sister is an understatement. She fell into a coma for about a month after hearing the news.

My brother on the other hand turned into someone I wish I never knew. He started to drink and we would fight constantly. I finally had enough and moved in with Jay and his parents. I'm so thankful for them, they have been nothing but nice and they treat me like their own daughter.

I check my phone to see it's four pm already. I go to my contacts and click on my sister. I hit call and wait for her to pick up. I always call her everyday to make sure she's doing okay.

"Hey Levi!" I hear on the phone. I smile and sit on my bed. "Hey Lily, how was your day today?" Me, Lily, and Malachi all go to the same school we just don't see each other much. "It was good, Andrew asked me out today!" She squeals and my mouth drops.

"Aww Bebe! I'm so happy for you! You guys make an awesome couple!" I smirk and giggle a little along with her. "I know, he's just the sweetest."

I look out my window to see Jay coming into the house with some boxes of food. "Oh Lily, me and Jay are hosting a sleepover, do you wanna come? I haven't seen you in a while and you could bring Andrew." I smirk and I could just feel in my heart that she's rolling her eyes.

"I know you're smirking Levi! But yeah I'll come. I'll call Andrew real quick and ask if he wants to come. I'll be there soon." We say our goodbyes and I hang up. I go downstairs into the kitchen to see Jay putting the food on the dinner table.

"Hey, my sister is gonna come, is that okay?" I ask Jay as I take a chip and dip it in the sauce. Jay smacks my hand when I reach for another one and sighs. "No it's not a problem, the only problem is you and your greedy little hands!"

I laugh and make my way into the living room. I turn the tv on and Teen Beach Movie 2 is on. I sit back and watch the movie to pass time until the doorbell rings. "Bitch go answer the door!" Jay yells from his room. "Dumbass stop yelling!" I yell as I walk to the door.

I open the door to see my sister and Andrew there and a few other people that Jay invited. I step to the side and everyone walks in. "Hey guys, one second." I walk to the bottom of the stairs and suck in a breath.

"Jay you fag! Get your fat ass down here! You invited these people, not me!" I yell and then walk to the couch. "You guys can put your stuff anywhere you like. Oh and Lily come here, you too Andrew." I cross my arms with a serious face and crack up a bit at Andrew's scared expression.

Everyone puts their bags down and takes a seat on the couch. The couch is a big circle so everyone can talk to each other. Lily sits down next to me and then Andrew sits next to her. I glare at Andrew and cross my arms.

"So you asked my sister out huh?" I ask Andrew and his face turns a few shades of pink. I smirk at his reaction. "I'm not gonna kill you Andrew." I laugh and he visibly relaxes. "Oh thank god." I hear him mutter under his breath.

I raise and eyebrow and lean back in my seat. "I've seen you fight a few times. You're the best fighter in the city." I gasp and my eyes widen. "Really?" I ask. Andrew nods his head. "Well yay! Anyway, you treat my sister good alright? You know what happened to Jason right?"

Andrew shivers and I smirk. So he does. "Wassup pendejos!" I hear Jay yell as he walks into the living room. "Who's up for some truth or dare?" We all groan. "Oh don't be party poopers!"

"Okay let's just get it over with." I hear a girl sigh. I look over to see Anna and I wave to her. She smiles at me and we all wait for Jay to sit down.

"Okay, Andrew truth or dare." Anna asks. Andrew thinks for a second. "I know you Anna, I pick truth." Anna sighs and rolls her eyes. "Okay then. Hmm, what happened to Jason?"

Andrew shivers again and I smirk. "He dated Lily but then cheated on her. Levi over here beat his ass pretty good. He was in the hospital for weeks! She was crazy!"

"Hey! I was not crazy! He hurt my twin sister, no one does that when I'm around!" I yell at him. Andrew rolls his eyes and puts his arm around Lily. "Okay, Levi, truth or dare?" He asks me and smirks.

I roll my eyes and smile. "Dare, duh." Andrew's smirk gets wider and he leans back in his seat. "Alrighty then. You know Derrick Conihan?" He asks. I nod my head. "I dare you to become his friend." My eyes widen and I choke on air. "What?" I yell. "He won't want to become my friend! I'm just the stupid shy girl at school!"

Anna clears her throat and I look to her. "Yeah I was gonna ask you about that. You are so outgoing and fun outside of school, but then you're secluded and shy at school. Why is that?" I sigh and close my eyes for a second. "People give me anxiety. Especially judgemental people. Anyway, Andrew I accept! I'll get him to be my friend. Even if it kills me!" Andrew nods his head and we shake hands. the game continues and only one thought goes across my mind.

I'm so fucked.
