Your pov,
I stood beneath the store that I work at and wasn't sure how I was going to get through all this rain all by myself.
Then down the block I saw a unfamiliar face and decided to ask for some guidance down these rainy streets.
"Hey, sorry to bother you, but could you help me get back to my place that's only six blocks away from here." I asked shivering slightly trying to make it seem like I wasn't freezing but I was.
She noticed how cold I was and wrapped her jacket around me to which I was surprised about.
"But you'll get sick if you give me your jacket." I said worried about her health if she continues this matter.
"I'll take care of myself. Right now you're more important." She says a soft smile rose upon her lips and everything felt just right.
She takes me back to my place and I couldn't have been more grateful if it wasn't for her being in the right place at the right time.
"Thanks for walking me home." I said and she smiled warming my heart once more.
I attempted to return her jacket but she stopped me.
"Keep it. It looks good on you anyway." She said no hesitation whatsoever.
"Are you sure..? I mean I couldn't just accept this after how nice you have been to me." I said staring at her jacket that I was holding.
"Keep it. I want you to keep it to remember me by when we meet again." She said and that made me avert my attention from the jacket to her.
"Meet again? Wait what do-" before I could finish she was already gone.
I never saw her again since that day and all my life I've been searching for the day when I get to see her again.
And to feel her warmth against mine.
