"taehyung, come visit our guests!"

taehyung's pov

i open my door only to see people coming in through the front door, making me slam it shut in fear.

i take a few breaths while thoughts start to swarm my mind.

"you're weak!"

"you're a coward!"

"mom and dad are disappointed and embarrassed because of YOU!"

"you're a pathetic excuse of a human being!

i feel my eyes start to prickle with tears making me wipe my face harshly.

while i was reading my book while laying in bed all cozy and comfy, i heard footsteps approaching my door.

i didn't think much about it until i heard my doorknob start to turn— making me panick and try to act like i'm sleeping.

"taehyung?"

i recognize that sweet bubbly voice.

i peek an eye open only to be met with my friend— jeon jeongguk.

"o-oh hi jeongguk.."

he was silent for a few moments looking at me with full worry on his face until his face changed to a soft smile.

"what are you doing all alone in here, hm?" he hums softly while caressing my hair.

i feel my eyes start to water making me feel the burning sensation.

i rub my eyes lightly letting out a tiny sob which i choke on making me sob a bit more louder.

"m' scared..." i say burrying my face in my blanket.

jeongguk giggles quietly at my cuteness.

"why are you scared baby?" jeongguk says softly while getting on the bed to wrap his arms around me.

i snuggle into his chest while sobbing quietly making him coo at me.

"e-eomma yelled at me.." i say into his shirt making it muffled.

"n-no one understands jeongguk.. no one understands my anxiety... i can't even face half of my family members or friends. It just makes me feel pathetic and embarrassed."

he pulls me closer rubbing my back and kissing my hair making me blush lightly.

"i know baby, i know it's hard but you know what?" he says looking down at me.

i innocently look up at him with a slight pout with my tear stained face making him coo again hugging me more.

"w-what?"

"i'm here with you okay? if you feel like anyone doesn't care or understand— pour your worries onto me okay? i'm here for you ba-" jeongguk was soon interrupted by loud knocking.

"taehyung! taehyung? come visit your family and friends! it's thanksgiving!" a loud booming female voice came through the door.

taehyung let out a tiny sob while jeongguk furrowed his eyebrows and rubbed his back some more.

"c-coming mo-mom!" he said in a small voice.

"get out here right now taehyung! i'm tired of you hiding all the time! do you still want that ipad pro!? well i'll gladly return it if you don't get your butt out here right now!" she threatened.

"o-o-okay!!"

as soon as she leaves taehyung breaks down into sobs into jeongguk's shirt.

"hey— baby you're okay. look at me sweetheart."

jeongguk tilts my chin upwards and kisses my cheek making me blush lightly.

i hear that deep heart warming chuckle fill my ears while being held bridal style.

"you'll be okay hun, i promise."
