Chapter 13

It's been 4 days since Haruna has locked herself. She told everyone that she is sick but everyone in the team are starting to notice that Endou, Kidou and Gouenji are not entering Haruna's room.

"Kidou, what's happening around here?" Sakuma asked. Endou and Kidou was sitting in the cafeteria.

"What do you mean?" Kidou asked looking down, other members also entered. "Do you guys think we are blind or can't see what's happening here? Since the day we came to London otonashi-san is having difficulty. First that manager asked otonashi-san about Genda-kun, then she being hospitalized and after that many people have seen Genda-kun near the villa, at last this. Seriously what is happening?" Fubuki was annoyed yet concerned.

Endou and Kidou looked at each other.

Gouenji P.O.V

Since that day Haruna and I haven't talked or seen each other. "well you and Genda, both are same." I am repeatedly thinking about this. "Why?" Only questions comes to my mind, why this happened. Every night I sit near our joint balconies and hear her cry.

I was resting my head to the glass door of her room and looking at the moon. "Haruna." I finally said but heard no reply. I knew she was hearing me and leaning towards her door just like me. "Haruna, I know you can hear me." My eyes were getting watery "Haruna I know what I did was very wrong and you cannot forgive me. But at least give me a chance to prove myself that my love was not false. I know you think Genda and I are same, and I won't blame you for thinking that because yes I have done the same as Genda but haruna the only reason we did that because we didn't wanted to bring back all the memories you had with him, we did not wanted to hurt you. Haruna when I said 'I love you' I was very sincere about it. You know what I thought immediately after this is over i will ask you to marry me and without any delay we will get married. We will have two kids and live outside the city where we'll grow old. Have a dog, Kidou will come occasionally. Everyday I will wake next to you, see your beautiful face while sleeping. I still want that haruna, I can't afford to loose you. You are most amazing person I have ever seen and I love you a lot haruna, I really do. I am not a bad person haruna nor what we had was untrue. That was most genuine feeling I had, Genda had brainwashed you Kidou, Endou and I never meant to hurt you. I am sorry haruna, punish me, shout at me, slap me but don't leave me please." Before I know I was crying like a baby and I could hear her sobbing yet she didn't replied. I didn't slept that night and I am sure neither did she.

Next morning we were practicing in the ground. I wasn't able to concentrate. Whenever I tried to make a shot, haruna came into my mind. Coach kudou came to me "Gouenji let's talk."

"Gouenji I know Genda told haruna everything. I know you guys did all this by thinking of her goodness but this is the not the first time she is been betrayed. I am not saying you have abandoned her or anything but she will feel the same because this has happened to her both times, it is a different thing that your motive was good. All I am saying give her some time, her wounds are still fresh. This match is very important for all of us. Genda is planning something big, we have to stop him automatically haruna will understand why you guys did this. I hope you get what I am trying to say here."

Coach was right I have to keep aside everything now. If Genda will not get caught, Haruna is the who will be in most danger. I was heading to my room, there were only few people in the whole villa and the rest went out. I saw Haruna's door was half open I couldn't resist but going in.

"Haruna." She was packing her bags. "What-" she looked at me and then to the bag. "Where are you going?" I asked "I am going home." She continued packing, she didn't looked angry or sad. "Why?" I moved forward "Because there's nothing left for me here. I will be better if I stayed away from everybody. I don't actually know whom to believe." We remained quite, I took a necklace out of my pocket and put in her bag "Take this with you. Please." I told her, she looked at me and asked " Won't you ask me to stay?"

I turned towards her, she was so close to me that I could hear her breathing "If I asked you to stay that will be the most selfish thing. I really don't want you here tomorrow, I can't risk your life. Haruna, Genda is going to execute some dangerous plan. Be safe. I don't whether we will meet after this or not but you are the most amazing thing ever happened to me. I love you." I left her room.

Aki-san was there she said goodbye to her and I was standing behind her. We didn't said anything just looked at each other, maybe for the last time.
