Falling in love with my manager(haruna X gouenji)

Chapter 9

After lot of thinking I started living with Genda-kun. We haven't told oni-chan about us. That was my last year in London, we decided after my main exams we'll tell oni-chan and my parents about our relationship.

"You did what?" I said out loud, I was talking to Endou-kun via phone.

"Yes, I proposed her." Endou-kun sounded very embarrassed.

"So when is the wedding?" I asked.

"23rd of next month. You can also tell Kidou about your relationship."

"Yeah, guess I can't keep it a secret anymore. I don't know what I am scared of. I should tell him but I don't want him to feel betrayed. I hope he won't be against us."

Even after spending three whole years with genda-kun I didn't knew much about him. Like his mother, his job, his family, anything but nothing ever bothered me because back then I felt the safest around him, like no one can love me better than him. But then one day I was cleaning his study, he wasn't home. There was this pile of files, I thought of arranging them but one of the file slipped from my hand. While I was picking it up, I saw names of some people and countries with some numbers. I didn't clearly got what that was but suddenly genda-kun took the file from my hand.

"What the heck you are doing here haruna?" He practically shouted and then he started bundling all the files and locked it in his cupboard. "Well I am sorry, I just thought of cleaning your study. I didn't knew those documents were so important." I was confused as well as scared, I'd never seen Genda-kun panicked before. He then came to me, calmer than before. He touched my cheeks and explained "I am really sorry babe. I must've scared you. You know those documents are really important and secretive, office work you know. I love you so much." He hugged me then. That definitely was weird but I still chose to trust him.

It was finally the week of Endou-kun and Natsume-san's wedding. We had just arrived to Japan and we thought that after going to our respective houses, in the evening we will tell everything about us to oni-chan that he convince our parents but something totally opposite happened. We were holding hands and kissing all the way and what we see in the gate was three guys staring at us sakuma-san, Endou-kun and oni-chan. Next thing we know that we were sitting on back seat of the car with oni-chan in the middle and Endou-kun and sakuma-san in the front seat with awkward silence.

"So long have you two been dating?" Oni-chan asked.

"2yrs." In unison

"2yrs???????? Are you kidding me? And I thought you are helping her and I you haruna was studying there." He yelled

"Kidou, don't yell at haru-Chan. I made the first move." Genda-kun interrupted. He shouldn't have.

We came home they were still fighting sakuma-san and Endou-kun holding oni-chan so that he can't kill Genda-kun. I have called mom and already told my parents about us.

"Kidou-san, first calm down. You are being angry because you are very protective about haruna. But even if it wasn't Genda, she would've choosed somebody else. Don't you think it's better that the person she loves, is one of your closest friends?" My mother explained and oni-chan was listening, he always listens to my mother, he actually adores her.

"I guess you are right otonashi-san." He nodded.

"Oni-chan, I really love him and I should have told you earlier. I am sorry. But I am happy with him and the fact that he is your friend makes me feel more safer around him." I told him.

Finally the wedding day of Endou-kun and Natsume-san came. Everyone was busy with the preparations. I was helping Natsume-san to get ready. Nobody knew what was between me and genda-kun. Genda-kun suggested we should wait for a while. Everything went great. After few days we all went to see off the new couple to the honeymoon. Then we came home. My dad was in a business trip and he came that day and wanted to have chit-chat with Genda-kun. They were talking casually first.
