Chapter 1

Caroline's Pov

I was up early due to it being Thanksgiving I stayed up as much as I could to get the food ready at least during lunch time.

The kids were sleeping, Stefan, Damon, and Elena were coming over while Bonnie being the good friend she was helped me cook.

The girls soon woke up and I told them to get ready before guest come over. Bonnie and I had finally finished cooking before a knock came on the front door.

"That must be Elena and Damon." I guessed and went to go open the door while Bonnie got everything set up. I opened the door and little did I know the one person I didn't want to see on the almost perfectly good afternoon was here standing on my door step.

"Hello Love." He said with a smirk. "Klaus," I said rolling my eyes.

"Daddy!" I turned around to see Eve running down the stairs and into his arms. Klaus smiled and went to hug her tightly. "How's my little Princess?" He asked "I'm happy now that you're here daddy."

I wanted to roll my eyes and slam the door in his face , but then again he is Evelyn's dad and I can't stop him from seeing her even if I hate his freaking guts.

"Mommy is Daddy staying for dinner?" Eve asked I sighed before saying "Sure why not, unless he has something else to do." I crossed my arms. "No, but I do have other people with me." He said making me groan in frustration. "Like who?" I asked

"Eve's family, and her new baby sister." He smiled at Eve. "She's here?!" Eve asked with excitement. Klaus nodded and took her to the car as Hayley, Elijah, Rebekah, and Freya stepped out the car with a baby in Hayley's arms.

I sighed before walking into the kitchen. "He's here isn't he?" Bonnie asked as I nodded before leaning against the counter. "He always does this!" I said. "We'll Care he does love his daughter." She said sighing walking towards me. "Yeah I know."

"Caroline," I turn around to see Elena, Damon, and Stefan. "Hey Guys." I said

"Don't 'hey guys' us what is the devil's family doing here?" Damon asked

"Damon be nice." Bonnie scolded "Yeah Damon he's Eve's dad I can't keep him away as much as I want too."

"Mom! Let's eat!" The twins came downstairs. I nodded, "Yes please." Stefan said.

The mikaelsons came and ate dinner with along with . . . . . Hayley and her baby.  "I'm glad we can all be under the same roof and not slit each other's throats." Stefan said as he too a piece of ham.

"Don't speak so soon little brother."

"Damon!" Elena scolded

I rolled my eyes "Can we all just be nice? If you don't have something nice to say don't say it at all." I said "Mhm." Bonnie and Elena agreed

"So Eve sweetie how's school?" Rebekah asked. "It's good, I made first place in the art project." She said

"Oh really what did you draw?" Elijah asked "My mom."

"Well your mom is a beautiful woman." Klaus said I gave him a fake smile before sipping my glass of wine. "Oh shove it Klaus." He slightly chuckled as he ate.
