Chapter 6

CAROLINE'S POV

Elena,Bonnie, the kids, Damon, and Stefan were helping me move things into the new place when I walked outside the twins were playing and then the mail man walked up to me.

"Ms. Forbes?" He asked smiling

"Yeah that's me." I said and he handed me an envelope before walking away.

I opened the envelope and started to read it. It was sad, depressing , and it started to make me cry and wonder. I can't believe this that asshole let our daughter run away with his BROTHER.

I vamped into the house as the boys were in the kitchen setting up the chandelier. "Guys I need a ticket to California ASAP!" I said before getting in my car. "Wait where are you going?!" Bonnie asked .

"To New Orleans, I'll be back." I said and drove off quickly.

I walked into the compound with my heels clicking on the floor.

"Klaus! Come out come out wherever the hell you are!" I yelled

"Forget Caroline."

I turned around to see Rebekah and Hayley standing behind her. "Where is he?" I asked

"He went to the airport to stop a plane from taking off, if he's not too late." Hayley said.

"Why?"

"That's what he's been trying to tell you Caroline. My brother does care about his daughter. If he didn't he would've abandoned Evelyn and Hope a long time ago, but he didn't."

"What are you trying to say?"

"He's going to get her and stop her from leaving." Hayley said

"Well we have to get them."

"I'll get the keys." Bekah said

"That's too slow I'll go myself."

Caroline quickly dashed off into the woods following the road that had lead towards the airport.

when Caroline quickly ran into the airport in past metal detection security guards were after her she didn't care she knew that she had to go to her daughter she knew that she had to stop her from getting on that plane, but what if it was too late what if she was late. What if she had lost her daughter forever? What if her daughter left because she didn't want anything to do with us anymore.

Caroline's mine race quickly at the thought of her daughter leaving but she couldn't stop now she had to go find her and try to change your mind at least try to. when she started searching the airport that was crowded with lots of people with bags and many other little children that lived exactly like Evelyn she wanted to give up she didn't she started listening for the sounds Klaus.

She wanted to know if he was here if he really cared or at least even if he had Evelyn or try to talk to her. Maybe it's too late maybe Evelyn just needs sometimes to be alone and gather her thoughts it's been a rough few weeks and Caroline knows that she hasn't been there, but she is trying and that's all that really matters.

Hours later Caroline finally had met up with Klaus after the airportthey were driving back off to New Orleans while Evelyn was sleeping in the backseat even though she was supposed to be leaving with her Uncle Kol made it manageable and reasonable for her to leave and go back home he'll let her visit someday soon but she couldn't stay he knew that already. Kol loved his niece too much to let her leave her family behind and her friends plus other loved ones he knew it was going to be hard for her to bear that's why he can let her do it.

what album was knocked out in the backseat Caroline and Klaus had a very long talk about what they wanted to do how they were going to manage this. Caroline said that she try to be free during the weekends in order to spend time with their kids and clow said that he'd send her money even if she didn't want it he wouldn't let her refuse. He knew that Caroline was going through a very tough time even as a vampire + a mother it's hard being someone you're really not. Caroline really is trying her best and close knows that but he wants to at least try to help her through her pain. he knows that she can't afford the new house he knows that she's barely budgeting on how she wants to take care of her daughters, but either way he's going to be there to help her.

By the end of the night the two kissed it was a romantic soft and passionate. Caroline let him Caroline enjoyed it cuz she knew that she was never going to find another man like Klaus ever again. even with his old wicked ways clothes still will choose her over any revenge on like Tyler or Stephen things were different it was just that way with Klaus.

Klaus made her feel like a queen even when now she feels like the old version of Cinderella. She feels like a maid picking up dirty pieces that she know that she messed up. She's trying she wants to try harder she doesn't have the time that's what Klaus comes in.

The two went from kissing to a deep hot steamy make-out session it only lasted a few minutes before they ended up under the sheets.

what a romantic night you see that you finally have made up after all this time after breaking apart and hurting themselves and fighting their feelings is all starting to make sense if they are meant to be.

A FEW MONTHS LATER Christmas has finally arrived and Evelyn has woken up and her father's compound for the first time. it's her first Christmas here in the compound Evelyn has never really gotten to spend time with her father on Christmas, I hear she is spending her first Christmas here with our family everyone's here her mom's friends her old friends the boy that she loves like I said everyone is here.

Christmas was perfect Evelyn got new clothes iPhone 11, another computer, cards a bigger TV and now her uncle has even installed her a library in the compound just for her to read all her amazing fanfic books and all the other books as she loves and enjoys.

Her aunt bex rented out the movie theater for her and her friends for a while they watch so many new movies like jumanji next level, spies in disguise, and the new Dolittle that came out with Robert Downey jr. Christmas was the best and she got spend it with all the people that she loved.

when dinner time came I was even better they all finally got to catch up got to express their feelings and come to find out everyone's parents Klaus and Caroline are now a thing, and when I say a thing I definitely mean I thing *winks*

The night started to close and everything is getting perfect everyone was in her room looking at the beautiful balcony in the perfect view of the city when Sebastian came behind her and handed her this beautiful nicely wrapped rectangle gift.

when she opened it revealed a very beautiful necklace with her name carved in it and a heart next to it it was so beautiful that all she could do was smile and kiss him for the first time it was like nothing you've ever seen before it was something special that he had given to her on Christmas day there's nothing more special a guy can do than that especially a teenager.

Love is in the air ,presents have been unwrapped, food has been eaten, and family has coming together, like they always say Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year.
