Chapter 7: I was a dad

"That was the fourth time he's talked to us so far," Tae stated.

"Fourth?" Namjoon asked.

"Yeah. His first was at the compound, the second was the time he was shot, the third time was when he whispered in my ear, which makes this the fourth time," Tae claimed, his eyes lit with an unknown emotion.

"What did he whisper in your ear?" Yoongi questioned warily as he looked at the delta.

"He told me to tell Ash that he was sorry, but he didn't tell me what for," Tae responded, his eyebrows pressed firmly together as he still failed to understand the coded message.

"Isn't it sad how we've counted how many times he's talked," Jin sighed, shaking his head, "I know there is a lot going on in that head of his, I can see it in his eyes. It's so sad that he thinks that he has to hide everything from us, but that does make me wonder and worry about what he is hiding."

"It worries all of us, hyung, but hopefully Ash knows what to do when she wakes up," Namjoon responded as he massaged the Luna's shoulders. The Bangtan Boys nodded their heads in agreement and continued to sit in silence as the other two slept.

Ash started to show huge improvements in her health, and finally began to heal faster than a human. Four days after Jimin's fourth time speaking, she regained consciousness. Ash opened her eyes to find Hoseok holding one of her hands and Jimin holding the other as he was curled up in Yoongi's lap.

The three sleeping boys were the only ones present in her room at the moment, but she saw several objects ranging from a jacket to a pair of shoes littering the room. She gently squeezed Jimin's hand and whispered his name, quiet enough to not wake the older two.

He opened his eyes at her calling and immediately popped out of Yoongi's lap, jumping into her arms.

"You're okay. You're awake. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. They rescued us, your family. They accepted me, just like you promised. Jin is just like you said. He threatened Yoongi with his shoe for cursing. It was so funny. I'm so happy you're okay now. You've been asleep for so long. We were so worried," Jimin rambled as if he had been talking his entire stay at the Bangtan packhouse, the only sign of his silence was the scratchiness of his voice.

Yoongi and Hoseok were awakened by a high but croaky voice they didn't recognize. The sat in shock until Hoseok started to cry as he finally realized that his mate was awake.

"Hey, let's give the couple a minute together," Yoongi suggested as he stood up and extended his hand towards Jimin.

"It's okay, I'll be right here when you come back," Ash insisted as she saw the hesitation in the small boy's stance. After a moment of contemplation, Jimin crawled off of her bed and took Yoongi's hand. He looked back at Ash and she smiled at him, encouraging him to follow the beta. Jimin quietly closed the door behind him, leaving Ash and Hoseok alone in the room.

Hoseok was a sobbing mess as he began to kiss her whole face, covering every inch with his lips, causing her to giggle lightly. His lips met hers and they stayed there, every emotion he felt in the last couple of months pressing into her lips. His hand unconsciously moved down to her stomach which was still wrapped in bandaging. She sharply inhaled, breaking the kiss.

"Hobi, I never got to tell you," she started crying. "I thought that I would never see you again. I was so scared. I thought that I was going to die in there," her voice cut out with a sob.

"I'm so sorry, baby. We searched nonstop for months until we found you. You were there for three whole months," fear appeared on her face.

"Oh no. Oh no, they have her. They have my baby. They have OUR baby Hobi. They took Sunny from me. I couldn't stop them. It's all my fault. I never got the chance to tell you. I'm so sorry, it's all my fault. I'm sorry. I'm sorry," she sobbed into his chest as he wrapped his arms around her.
