"Jimin just told me that he's never had his heat," Yoongi blurted. Jimin looked down at the floor, his cheeks were red with embarrassment.

"Now that I think about it... Jimin didn't have his heat in the compound..." Ash stopped spinning and stared at Jimin as Yoongi helped him to a nearby bed, "... or here..." Jin put his finger on his chin and his eyebrows scrunched together in concentration.

"Well... there are several possibilities on why," he paused. "The most obvious possibility is that his body was put under too much stress at the compound, messing up his reproductive system." The members were quiet as he thought of other possibilities. His face lit up with shock as he thought of an awful possibility.

"Jimin, did you take any pills when you were there?" Jin asked quietly. Jimin's head popped up in confusion and Ash gasped.

"Yeah? I don't know why though," Jimin responded as the others stared at him. Jin nodded his head as if everything made sense.

"What color was it?"Jin asked, a calming tone filling the room.

"I don't remember..." Jimin said defeatedly as he looked back down to his hands, fidgeting with them.

"Bright pink..." a soft voice answered. Jin turned his head and looked at Ash who had a sad look in her eyes.

"I think they were heat suppressant pills, Jimin-ah," Jin turned back to Jimin who had a shocked look, as did Yoongi.

"I don't understand," Yoongi stuttered. "He's been here for just about a year now, hyung. Shouldn't his body be adjusted by now?"

"I have no idea. His body was on it for years... Jimin-ah, when was the first time you took the pill?"

Jimin sat in silence as he searched through his memories.

"The night after I presented..." he whispered, causing Jin to sigh at his response.

"We'll just have to keep a close eye on you then, Chim. You might have your heat, you might not. Only time will tell," Jin spoke, unhappy with the scenario. He picked the clipboard back up and returned to counting the medical supplies.

Yoongi helped Jimin stand up and they slowly made their way back to their room. Ash sighed, saddened by the difficulties her best friend constantly had to endure.

"Jin hyung, will Jiminie ever have his heat?" Ash asked, worried for her friend. Jin dropped his head.

"I don't know, Ash-ah. I don't know which one to worry about more... him not having a heat, or having one," The two wolves remained silent as Jin continued to write on his clipboard.

Another week passed. Jimin was walking on his own and spent most of his time hanging around the nonhunters (Taehyung, Ash, Seokjin) as the hunters (Jungkook, Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon) were gone most of the day, hunting in preparation for winter.

The wolves were casually sitting around the kitchen as Jin prepared breakfast. Jimin was oddly quiet, his head resting on the counter while his face was covered by his arms.

"Jiminie. Are you okay? You're not talking as much?" Ash asked as she walked over to him, Tae and Jin distracted in their own conversation.

"Geez Jiminie! Your scent is overpowering! Do you feel okay?" Jimin lifted up his head and looked at Ash. His face was pale and sweaty, his eyes half shut as she put her hand on his forehead.

"Aish! You're burning up! Jin hyung, come feel his forehead," Jin walked over to them as Jimin pushed Ash's hand away and stood up.

He grabbed his stomach and gasped in pain. His knees buckled beneath him and Jin ran to catch him as he fell. Jin grabbed Jimin's arms and slowly lowered them to the ground, the remaining two members crouching down next to them.
