Attack on the village

We headed back from the graveyard and entered the village. Everyone was on the second island. When we got back we heard Gen declining alcohol and saying that he had a message to deliver.

"Yeah, let us hear the message. What happened in the Tsukasa Empire?" Senku said as we finished crossing the bridge.

"They're coming. Tsukasa and his men"

"At last, it's time to show off the power of the Kingdom of Science. Get excited."

Kohaku started freaking out some.

"Hey, I'm gonna go see how Kinro and Ginro's doing..." I said before walking away.

On my way there Ginro ran past me and was yelling to the others. I ran to the bridge to find Kinro fighting some men. I ran across to him.

"Kinro! Get back!" I yelled at him.

He turned around and looked at me.

"That's Hyoga! One of the strongest!"I tried to get to him before Hyoga got close, but he was stabbed in the stomach.

"Well, look who's alive, Shuvi." Hyoga looked at me with opened eyes. "I knew that you wouldn't die that easily."

"Yeah, I faked my death." I glared daggers at him and felt my evil grin pulling at my cheeks. "I honestly hated it there."

Then I heard a loud bang come from behind me.

"Hyoga! You need to get out of here they've already made guns!" Gen yelled while pointing Senku's 'gun' away from them.

"Yeah, Hyoga. You better go on and scamper away before we blow your brains out." I said while having my evil grin that was filled with murderous intent. "I really don't care if I have to kill someone. Because I will if it's necessary."

He and his men retreated into the forest and I helped Kinro up.

"Geez, Shuvi. You sure are scary. I'd hate to see what you would do to him with good eyesight." Kinro said weakly.

"Be quiet you need to rest. And you should have listened to me when I told you to get back." I said and then flicked him on the head.

Then Senku came over and started throwing something on his wound saying that he would be better soon. Then, Kinro was carried to the science shed to get some rest. Then I went to go to sleep.

It was morning and I got up early and headed outside. Senku had just woken up too.

"Hey, Senku? Are we going to get some good weapons? Stone ones won't work all that well in this fight..." I said while rubbing my eyes.

"Yeah, we're going to make some swords." 

Him saying that completely woke me up. "Really?! I want one too!"

"Yeah, you've always loved your swords... We'll be starting on them today, but later after everyone is awake."

"Oh, and is there any way that I can get some proper cooking supplies after this upcoming battle?"

"So you figured that they'll be attacking again too?"

"Well, yeah. If we're talking about Gen then he'll convince the fodder to fight when a storm comes. Hyoga will be against it but will still allow it. Trust me I lived there for about a week."

"So, do you know this Hyoga guy?"

"Yep. He trained me in close combat."

"...Why didn't you bring that up before?!" He yelled.

"Because it slipped my mind. You know how forgetful I can be." I said with a slight laugh.

*Sigh* "I swear that Big Oaf's rubbed off on you."

"Oh, shush. Anyway, I can't wait to fight him~"

~time skip~

The storm came and everyone was ready. The decoy would be Senku and the fighting team would be Kohaku, Kokuyo, Kinro, Ginro, Magma, and me. I literally could not stand still and I was constantly happy. Kinro and I even had our glasses.

"What? Are you nervous Shuvi, maybe you should sit this out." Magma said trying to taunt me.

"I'm not nervous at all, I'm just excited to finally beat the person who trained me~ Maybe you should sit out, after all, you just swing your weapon when you're fighting."

"Tch. How about after this we have a rematch."

"I'm perfectly fine with that, and this time I will beat you."

Before we could say anything else they started attacking. We all jumped to the other side of the bridge from behind Senku and they all had surprised looks on their faces when they saw our weapons. 

I instantly attacked a couple of them and broke their weapons, since Senku wants this to be a bloodless war.

Then Hyoga attacked Magma which knocked his katana into the water under the bridge. Then Kohaku tried attacking and she just got flung back. Then Hyoga attacked Kinro which just got blocked by his shield, then he tried attacking me which I just dodged and I tried to get up close, but like always, he just got back and put distance between us. 

Gen then told him something but I didn't catch it since I was trying to make a plan to take him down. I got ready to attack and then Magma got in front of him and he distracted Hyoga. I took this chance to get by Hyoga and strike. I charged at Hyoga from behind Magma while at the same time Kohaku tried an aerial attack. But before anyone could land a strike his speartip broke off.

Everyone stopped fighting. Then Hyoga went on saying that it was a precise cut like a magic trick. "You really know what you're doing Gen. You're really doing things the proper way, for a traitorous rat."

"How could you think it was me Hyoga?!" Gen was fake pouting. Then he went into an eviler smile than Senku. "Well, you have me figured out now Hyoga, I'd expect no less from you~" Then Gen kinda disappeared from where he was and reappeared on a pole by Senku. "I've used these flowers on stage. Black Nightshade is my favorite flower. After all, in the language of flowers, it means liar."

"The Kingdom of Science really does do things properly. That is if you realized that this skirmish was a diversion."

We all looked at the village and seen that it was on fire. 'Dammit! I forgot about Homura!' I thought to myself before I started running towards the village.

I was on the bridge and Homura started coming across. I knew her moves but she was faster than me. I went at her and I saw her getting ready to jump it was a split second but I managed to jump and slow her down a bit. But, she still got past me and then past Kohaku. She got back over to Hyoga.

We got all of the villagers out of the village and over to the Science camp. Suika ran away and was leading Hyoga and his men up to the Sulfuric acid area. Kohaku and Senku went after her because she didn't know the danger that she was getting into.

While they were gone I helped out in the camp. Then after they got back and the fires went out the ex-chief said that they could rebuild. But the Science team would be doing something else.

"What is the one thing that wins wars?" Senku asked the Science team that was present.

"Uh...Nuclear weapons?" Gen weakly asked.

"No. Anyone else?"

"! Communication!" I half yelled.

"And there's another 10 billion points for Shuvi. We're gonna make cellular phones in this Stone World. Get excited."

Gen looked like he couldn't even believe what words were coming out of his mouth. And everyone was confused about what cellular phones were so Gen explained it to them. Most people were dumbfounded and called it straight up sorcery while Chrome and Kaseki were excited to make it. And then Senku had to explain how communication was a weapon and then Ginro asked, "Who's gonna be the double agent?"

"We already have a couple over there. They've been there for a while now." Senku started to say.

"Taiju and Yuzuriha." I finished Senku's sentence.
