When the police arrived , they heard nothing and were starting to think that this must be a prank call from some drunk teenagers but stopped midway when they heard little sobs.
The officer who was one the phone earlier , Jackson , was the one leading the group with a loaded gun.
He tried to listen from where the sounds are coming from when his nose caught a disturbing smell which almost made want to puke all his lunch.
Half of team was now checking the librarian for any other type of injury while he started following the sobs again.
He reached the stairs and when his eyes landed upon jungkook who was holding a bloody book and was rocking himself back and forth.
He slowly approached him with his team , behind him , on high alert.
When he on a safe radar which was a little close to jungkook but not close enough.
He placed a hand on jungkook's shoulder which caused the boy to stop himself from his rocking and mumbling.
When jungkook turned around he practically started bawling.
Jackson wrapped his arms around jungkook.
Whispering sweet nothings in his ears.
Everything's in jungkook's body said to go and look for the boy who has his heart.
The beautiful angel who was stolen away from him.
Jackson looks towards his team and nodded towards them , which the team fled to look for something that jungkook might have missed.
"Jungkook-ah?" Whispered Jackson as he held jungkook's face.
Jungkook's eyes shone with tears and so much sadness that it melted Jackson's heart.
There was something much sadness in them.
It's said that the eyes are the window of your soul but it looked as if there was no soul in them.
The usual happy person crying this much made Jackson heart hurt.
Jackson and jungkook have always been close , to the point where jungkook's fell in love with him.
Jackson couldn't turn down the look on the bunny's face which ready to be rejected, and said yes.
After weeks of dating , Jackson finally confessed that he didn't had any feeling for him and was feeling forced in this relationship with being kind as much as he can.
But in the end , he lost his best friend.
And his best friend was left with a broken heart.
A broken heart that someone else had and they were not here.
They took away his heart.
