My Prince

The night is dark and the stars are bright there is no sun in sight,
As lay down to my bed the smooth pillow dragged me to sleep, I dream...

I dream of a person a prince indeed, 'cause my mother says every girl has a prince,
A prince who will think highly of me,
A prince with a smile that can light up my whole world,
A prince that would treat me nicely and tenderly,
A prince that would shower me with morning kisses,
A perfect prince is every girls dream,

My mother's words marked unto my heart,
I know that someday you would come,
It may the time when I left a thing and you,
You would search the world just to find me,
It may be the time when a bad witch put a curse on me and you ,
You would come to save me with your true love's kiss,
Or it may be time that I'll be your night in shinning armour and you'll be the damsel in distress that's how the little mermaid met her prince that lead her to her tragic end,

But our love story wouldn't be like those of fairytales,
We will create our own story, our love would be unfold,
I will be a princess who is brave enough to show you my flaws,
I will be a princess who is courageous enough to defeat and conquer my fears,
I will be a princess who is not ashame to whisper 'I love you' to your ears,

Yes, I will be a perfect princess beacuse you my dear is my perfect prince.
