"No reason to live? That's rather depressing I must admit." Alec says with a slight grin, his pearly whites beaming in the light of the old flickering lantern placed beside us.

"I have a question" I giggle, it's really quite a silly question.

"Well do spit it out vamp..."

"Well....what do werewolves eat?"

"Vampires that like to change the subject with silly questions like that." he says very bluntly as if he was rather annoyed by my pointless question. I stay silent, not quite knowing how to respond. Alec gets up and walks over to a small wooden table located in the corner of the tent like room that we were in. He stands there in silence, fiddling with bits and bobs that laid in no certain order on top of the table. I looked him up and down, my eyes naturally adjusting to the darkness that was falling. I felt as if I was analysing him, without even really meaning to, my senses were heightened, a stabbing pain piercing the back of my scull - the transformation must be in its final phases. Alec turns towards me "Seems as if you can't take a joke." I smile and look up at him, his gusto manly figure peering down at me. Our eyes meet. I stare in to them, brown with golden flakes, they begin to blur, his whole face starts moving, suddenly its as if I see two Alecs in front of me. The last thing I remember is him coming towards, trying to grab me before I fell off the chair.

Next thing I know I wake up, lying in a bed covered in soft white bedsheets, it felt almost hotel like, I feel the warmth of an open fire hitting me like a comforting blanket. I grab the bed sheets, scrunching them up in my hands like I did as a child, the weight of the sheets surrounding me like an reassuring hug. I hear a noise from the other side of the room. I raise my eyes over the blanket barrier that sat next to my head, I see Alec sitting in the corner of the room, he had fallen asleep. His head slowly slipping from the grasp of his hand which he had propped up with his elbow on the armrest of an old wiry wooden chair. His brown softly curled hair dangling around his face, the golden highlights flickering along with the flicking of the fire. I should get up, I think to myself. I slowly drag the sheets off my body, feeling the warm air sweep over me. I lift myself up, the dull pain in my head still throbbing now with a nice bump to show along with it thanks to my fall. I place my feet on to the ground next to the bed, one foot at a time, my toes sinking into the fluff of the animal skin rug that laid there. I try to lift myself off the bed however I can't seem to find the force, *sigh*

I let out a small moan along with a huff as all the energy I had tried to use escaped my body, causing me to feel even more exhausted than before. I look over at Alec to see if my struggle had awoken him, nope, still sleeping. I take a deep breath, as I exhale I push all the air out of my body as if it were capable of pushing my body along with it. It was the weirdest sensation, it felt truely as if all the air had left my body, I could feel air coming out of every crevice and corner of my body, it felt even as If I could feel each single air molecule moving inside me. I felt the most alive I ever had, rather odd seeing as I had my recent experience of dying and becoming a vampire.

Alec awakens, his hand falling in from under his head, his eyes flashing open in the matter of milliseconds due to the shock. He jumps up out of his chair, almost slipping in the process. "Miss Kahl, you did give us quite a fright there." He says as he walks over to me.

"Yeah sorry about that, not quite sure what happened there." I say as I once again try to lift myself from the bed.

"You should not be doing that!" Alec squeaks, grabbing my arm to support me.

"You almost sound worried there, be careful they'll be calling you a vamp sympathiser." I giggle as I take his other arm to pull myself up.

"I only said that because you're my prisoner and you will do as I say." He states firmly yet quickly as if trying to defend himself.
