Is there really any god?
It's the atheists who ask that. There are many religions among Sortether, and they all respect each other, but....
Scientifically, religion aside, is there a god?
The answer is shrouded to many. Shrouded to those who push magic away. Shrouded to those who don't want there to be a god.
The answer is yes, there are gods up in what the mages call the Aether.
Two gods, in fact.
Brothers.
Enemies.
Creation and Destruction.
Order and Chaos.
Life and Death.
Everybody knows they are there, yet don't.
They know the brothers as unstoppable forces of nature without name. The ones they don't think about, they just know.
Enemies.
Yet brothers.
How did this come?
