Jay White had some time off from New Japan Pro Wrestling and felt the need to check on his girlfriend, Nova. Their last time together was amazing. They met in Vegas and stayed up late to enjoy their time together. Three days went by so fast, and now it's been a month.

Jay looked down at the picture of him with Nova, poolside at the Venetian. Her smile was so infectious. Everything about her is so sweet and loving. He hopes when they see each other, she won't hold back anything.

Vegas has been his favorite time with her. He had fans recognize him, but it wasn't anything too crazy that put a damper on their time together. Fans were respectful when they realized he was on vacation with his girlfriend.

Jay allowed sadness to overcome him

Jay allowed sadness to overcome him. He didn't like that Nova has been very distant over the last couple of days. It worried him that she failed to tell him about her previous relationship.

What else was she hiding?

Long-distance relationships aren't easy, but Jay would gladly move to the states to be with her if the relationship progressed into something more serious. The flight from Japan to California was bumpy, and all he could think about was her. And rub on her fat ass.

Even though she posted a lot of risky pictures on social media, he doesn't care about that. Sure, that made him pay attention to her, but he loves the person she is. That has maintained his interest.

Their last visit was right before Z-cross passed away. He didn't even know they knew each other, but he noticed she was reserved during their conversations since the previous month. Now, he has realized she was griefing over her ex-boyfriend.

Jay never crossed paths with him, so he didn't know him personally. But, from what he knows about Z-Cross, they are entirely different.

His mind wondered what she saw in him and why they ended.

According to social media, he left his money to her. Was he still seeing her up until his death? Jay didn't want to think those negative thoughts, but he hasn't known her that long to be sure.

"Greg, you don't know why we broke up?" Nova asked she turned in her barstool to face him. She folded her arms and crossed her legs.

"No, tell me. He never told me," Greg explained. He leaned in and cleared his throat. He always wanted to know what happened between the two. Both parties were always hush-hush about it.

Nova looked past him and daydreamed about their breakup. Nova refocused her attention back to him. She pressed her lips together and sighed.  "We were going to Vegas to elope, and the morning we were supposed to go, he left me. He went to WWE for a tryout."

Greg dropped his jaw. "What? But why would he leave without you? You were always his biggest supporter. Did something else happen?" Greg inquired.

"Nothing happened. I know it was a selfish thing, but I wanted to be there to support him. We could have gotten married another day, but he left me with a note. I packed my shit and left before he returned," Nova expressed.

No one knew the real story until now. They both chose to never tell anyone about it. Nova looked down at her phone and saw an email from VICE.

"Dear Ms. Nova Winters,

We are sorry for your loss of your former boyfriend, Zachary "Z-cross" Carter. We are starting A new wrestling series called: Gone Too Soon, and we want our first episode to be about Mr. Carter. Would you be interested in being apart of this process? We have done our research and have found you were around him during his entire indie career. We would love to have people that were close to him.

Please let us know if you are interested."

Best,

Chris Grosso

"Fuck!" Nova yelled, which caused everyone to stare at her in the bar.

"What?" Greg's eyebrows rose as he tried to figure out what caused Nova to react in the matter she did.

Nova showed her phone to Greg so he could read the email. Greg looked down at her iPhone and scanned her cellphone. "Fuck!" Greg looked up at Nova.

"I know I can't do that."

"Yes, the fuck you can. You are apart of his legacy. C'mon Nova," Greg tried to persuade her. "They might not be interested in talking to his family. You could tell the real story," Greg said.

Nova sighed. "It's been a long day, and now people want me to talk about him. I need some time to think. His wife accused me of being his fucking mistress!" Nova rolled her eyes. Zachary was fine as hell, but one thing he wasn't was a cheater.

Zachary never cheated on anyone, and his thing has always been that cheating is a deal-breaker. He couldn't sometimes take how men drool over Nova, but what could he expect? Even when she dressed conservative, men still stared at her.

"She's just jealous of you. Ashley told my wife she found love letters from you. Whatever y'all had, Zach couldn't shake you," Greg affirmed.

It felt so weird of having these emotions about Zachary come back up. Today has made things even harder, and she knows she will always love him.

"I know, but Zach made his choice to do what he did. It doesn't matter now. He isn't here with us anymore," Nova said.

"I hear you, but at least think about their offer."

Nova stared out of the window in the back of the Lyft. She had her taser in her pocket because you could never be too careful when you ride in a Lyft or Uber.

She arrived at her apartment and climbed the stairs, still lost in her thoughts. Today was eventful, and it was good to see Zachary's brother. But, it made her think about him even more.

When she climbed to her top step, Jay waited for her with white roses. "Hi, Babe." Jay wore that adorable smile, and he lit up when he locked eyes with his love.

Nova grabbed the flowers and hugged her boyfriend. "Oh my god, I am so happy to see you. Ugh, I need you, baby."

Jay kissed her lips. "I know, babe, and I am here for you," Jay hugged her tighter. "It will be okay babe."
