Nova laid in Jay's lap while he stroked her hair. This was the very first time she allowed Jay to see this side of her. She let herself feel and express her emotions. Her tears fell as he rubbed on her shoulder.
Jay respected her feelings and was glad he was there to support her. Nova needed him today.
Nova sobbed, and wiped her tears from her eyes. "I am sorry, it was too much for me to handle today. I have to revisit the emotions and thoughts I thought I released. People think they know me based on his wife's tweets."
It hurt like hell and while she kept it together around Greg. She crumbled as soon as she got into her bedroom. Emotions mixed with dark liquor isn't good for anyone.
"Nova, you know who you are. You don't have to worry about what others think about you. That's what I admire about you. You are so fearless and confident."
Nova didn't feel fearless nor did she feel confident. She couldn't stop crying and she wished Jay didn't have to experience this side of her. Her emotional Pisces side.
Her emotions were raw over the loss of Zachary, and then she inherited a lot of money because of him. Her seeing Greg today made things even worse. "I am not going to lie to you. I did really love him. He was my first everything. However, I never touched him after our breakup."
Jay rubbed her arm while she vented about her previous relationship. "I am not mad about someone who was in your life before you met me. You had your reasons why you didn't tell me about him."
"I let him go years ago. I watched him moved on to WWE and do his thing. I don't have regrets," Nova said.
"Things will blow over. I know you will be okay and don't allow the world to try to dictate who you are," Jay told his girlfriend. He knew he couldn't compete with a man any longer here. He will continue to be immortalized.
There were things her lips did not say, but her energy did say. He knew this was heavier on her than other people. All Jay wanted to do is to support her and be there for in every way she needed.
"I know it's just hard. I am sure you saw on Twitter his wife posted pictures of me with him. She told the world I stole money from his children. Called me a fucking mistress," Nova explained.
Jay hated to hear her so affected by this. "Fuck her. He obviously wanted you to have that money."
"He felt like he owed me. I didn't want the money, but I am not going to say I don't need it. Greg told me he left money him for his children. So that makes me feel better," Nova said.
"Who is Greg?" He asked.
"His brother," Nova replied.
"Let me make you some tea. My mom creates her own. I am going to put it on, okay?" Jay kissed her forehead, and moved from under her. He walked into the kitchen and grabbed his tea for her.
Nova sat up on the bed and looked at her phone. She saw a text message from her brother, Kevin.
Kevin: Nova who tf is Ashley? She needs her ass beat! You good?
Nova: It's Zachary's widow. I hate that bitch. If we weren't in a meeting, I would have dog walked her.
Kevin: Don't worry about anything girl, I got you. You want me to come to stay with you?
Nova: No, Jay is here with me
Kevin: Oh now he wants to come around
Nova: He just found out that Zachary was my ex. He didn't know
Kevin: I am sure he didn't know Z-cross was your ex. Like it's not all over the internet, but okay.
Nova: He's a good dude. He's making me some tea right now
Kevin: That doesn't mean he's a good dude Nova. I want to meet him because I don't play about my sister
Nova: You can meet him soon
Kevin: You sure you want to be with another wrestler? Ion know about this...
Nova: Yes, I am sure of it. I like him
Kevin: Do you love him?
Nova: I haven't known him that long
Kevin: Yo ass better not still be in love with Z-cross. You need to let that man go
Nova: I have
Kevin: No you ain't. You were a mess when you found out he died
Nova: Kev, we grew up with him.

Nova climbed out of her king-size bed, and went into the kitchen. Jay stood with his back to the counter next to the stove and appeared to be lost in his thoughts. Nova walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his shoulder. She kissed him.
"Thank you," Nova said.
"It's really the least I can do. I care about you Nova, and I am here for you."
Nova touched his pants and rubbed over his crotch.
Jay grabbed her hand. "C'mon on Nova. You're not in a good headspace. This tea is going to calm you down and help you sleep. You're still a little tipsy and you a good night's rest."
"I mean we haven't seen each other in a month. We need to have to sex," Nova said.
Jay shook his head. "No, we don't. I didn't fly here to fuck. If we do, then we do. But, not like this babe," Jay moved away from her. He wanted to respect her and not take advantage of her during her vulnerable state.
"Let me guess you're fucking someone else?" Nova spat. He has never turned her down before and she was a little confused by his gesture.
"Nova, come on now. You know that's not true. I am not about to fuck you after you just cried over your ex that passed away. I am not even in the mood," Jay moved the teapot off the stove, and turned off the burner.
He grabbed her bossy bae cup from the cabinet. Maybe he made a mistake by coming here. Jay doesn't see their relationship as purely sexual. Just because they met on social media doesn't mean he just wants to fuck.
"Of course you're not in the mood. You are fucking another bitch. Are you fucking a bitch from Stardom?"
"Absolutely not, I am only intimate with you. You need to relax, Nova. Look, I understand you have a lot going on. But, please do not accuse me of cheating of you."
Nova decided to let it go. She has always had trust issues, and scared every man would leave her the way Zachary did. She has to work on that, so she doesn't sabotage her current relationship. "Okay, I am sorry."
