Soldier, Agent, Operative, hero... the list went on. In her 37 years, Adelia Damon seemed to have done it all. She rappelled out of helicopters, dead-dropped onto aircraft carriers, took a clean shot with a sniper rifle from 300 feet up a cliff, and even after all that, her feats continued. But eventually, her demons caught up with her.
It was a relatively simple assignment that took her down; an undercover operation to infiltrate the inner circle of an Irish arms dealer. Adelia performed under the code name "falcon" and acted as a handler for an Agent named Emily Prentiss, who was connected to Interpol through the FBI. But when all was said and done, Adelia fell into a deep hole that she struggled to climb her way out of.
She spent six years staring at empty walls but found no relief in sight. She battled with demons clawing at the sides of her brain, spent hours screaming and begging at whatever god or higher power there was to give her one moment of peace. But nothing answered her desperate cries for help and she was left with alcohol to quiet the demons in her head.
Now Ian Doyle is back and Emily Prentiss is left to beg for the help of Adelia Damon to find him again.
